Today, our sweets factory turns out hundreds of our unique recipes around the world. We've come a long way since 2007, but there are some things that haven't changed. We still use the finest quality ingredients and we still make everything by hand. Petit Gourmet Arabian Sweets are endowed with the finest of walnuts, cashews, and pistachios. Baklava is a rich, sweet pastry made of layers of filo filled with chopped nuts and sweetened and held together with syrup or honey. It is characteristic of the cuisines of the former Ottoman Empire, and is also found in Central and Southwest Asia. An Ottoman legacy, baklava is regarded as one of the greatest creations from the pastry chefs at the Topkapi Palace. Generally, baklava is enjoyed as a mid-morning sweet snack with a cup of Turkish coffee, or as a mid-afternoon treat with a glass of tea or after lunch or dinner. Baklava is also one of the favorite desserts marking the end of Ramadan. The real thing shouldn't be very sweet and heavy; on the contrary it should be light enough to tempt you to eat a small plateful.

Taste versus size
Small amount but delicious (according to my mom). Fair price, but small amount. The taste makes it go from a 4 star to a 5 star rating.

Not the Baklava I'm used to
There wasn't anything specifically wrong with them except for being over dry and crumbly. I guess prefer the Greek version, which has actual honey in them (these don't) which makes them more moist. I should have read the ingredients as I would have seen the difference.

Not recomended
These were very dry . They had very little taste either. I was SO disappointed as they were a gift ! When I went to my families house and we opened , I was embarrassed that they were so awful . I've had baklava so many, many times and this was the worst I've ever had ! When i visited weeks later the box (i peeked ) was virtually untouched . I then told my fam to just throw it out ! We laughed and we did :( I advise to Not buy this product.

Extremely small, stale pieces. Very overpriced.
Stale and extremely small pieces. Probably less than half an inch square per piece. One bite and that's it. Totally not worth the price! If you want baklava, check your grocery store. If you want GOOD baklava, go to a Greek restaurant. Don't bother with this! I would give no stars if possible.
