CDM GEAR ROC-12 SERIES LIGHT MOUNT CDM Gear ROC-12 is a new basic, made in the USA, light mount/barrel.The ROC-12 series is made from new aluminum 1-piece clamp halves that have the rail formed into the clamp. The whole unit weighs 2.4oz.It is super low profile at about a 1/2"" away from the barrel with a curved, 3 slot rail that reduces hang ups and snags. It only uses 2 bolts that correlate the 2 halves to reduce incorrect mounting. The fingers at the top of the clamp make it easy to ascertain top from bottom and allow mounting to ribbed and ported barrels. It fits within a 1.25"" space on magazine tube and includes no slip grip pads and a wrench. The ROC-12S is the same but adds a sling swivel dock built right in. These clamps fit the Remington 870 and other shotguns. The CDM Gear ROC-12R is a base barrel clamp that is used to support factory and aftermarket 1"" diameter magazine tubes, and extensions, while providing mounting rails on the left and right side for rail mountable lights and accessories.The ROC-12R uses our patented ring and curved rail design, using a flashlight ring mount to draw tight a 1"" round bodied tactical light into the curved rail portion to locate the light. This gives you the choice of using a round tac light or a rail mountable light/laser or both! All threaded holes are press formed into the mount for hardness. The entire mount is then machine finished to soften and round edges before we type III mil spec hard coat anodized for durability. Just 2 socket head cap screws work opposite each other to hold the clamp in place and are included along with a wrench and 3M no slip grip pads for the magazine tube. The tac ring can be loosened to remove the tac light without disassembly of the mount. This mount requires 1 1/2"" of mounting surface without interference from a heat shield. Will not work with heavy walled barrel or magazine tubes larger than 1"". Best on Remington 870, Mossberg 500, Winchester 1300.

ROCK SOLID MOUNT!!!
Yes there are less expensive mounts.Is your life of the lives of your family worth the small savings BY you g cheap?COMPROMISE SOMEWHERE ELSE.HERE IS WHAT YOU ARE GETTING WHEN YOU GO WITH THIS MOUNT:Super solid machined aluminum.Easy to installEasy to removeThey provide adhesive pads to prevent scratching of the gun. They've held up fine even when the barrel is hot.This mount secures your light and one other accessory in two places- The mag tube- The barrelTwo large Allen Bolts cross between the barrel and mag tube gap to very securely clamp this down onto your firearm.It ain't going nowhere unless you want to remove it for disassembly of your shotgun. Which is easy to do. Simple. Remove both bolts and the assembly comes apart. But otherwise it's staying right where you want it.Buy this and forget about anything else. You won't look back.

Don’t buy with the ring.
Not worth buying with the light ring; it doesn’t fit my flashlight which is 1”.

Pricey, but well made and high quality.
I purchased the mount with the ring and was impressed by how well made it is. Nicely machined, all threads good, and fit well when clamped on, even though my magazine tube is slightly larger than standard. Decent instructions included as well. I knew ahead of time that the light I planned to mount was smaller in diameter than the ring on the mount, but a few wraps of heavy duty duct tape on the light and it was good to go, with the ring snugging it down nicely. Laser mounted perfectly on the other side. The only negative was the price, but I couldn't knock a star off for that because these days, you get what you pay for, and this is NOT a cheaply made piece of junk. It's a precision piece of hardware-- so five stars it is.
