The 1” x 6” red oak lumber is true to size, was packaged very well, received quickly and overall exceeded our expectations. The lumber was much nicer than what we’ve been getting at the local box stores. We will definitely keep Forest 2 Home at the top of our list when in need of lumber for our next project.

Let me start by saying I didn't give this a poor rating because the wood I received is bad. It is actually decent quality. I gave a poor rating because I have purchased from Forest 2 Home before and I was very impressed with the quality and this purchase was not up to that standard. Specifically, the thickness was only 7/8 instead of 15/16, there were markings on the board and a few other minor details. What I really discovered is that this order was actually shipped by Barrington Hardwoods, not Forest @ Home. So be careful who the seller is before you hit purchase.I was able to return this order and have received my product from Forest@Home, love it!

The grain is very consistent and stains and finishes well. This is the second time I have purchased a bundle of Oak, both times the wood is of the highest quality.
