Pro'sI have now had time to set up and use this DVD player and am pleasantly surprised by the performance .I have adjusted the screen colour, brightness and contrast to suit my viewing and can say that the picture quality is excellent.For a very large portable player it is surprising light and as the weight was one of my main concerns when deciding to upgrade from a 10.2 player to this 17.9 modeland it really does not seem that much different.I have now played a variety of dvd's ranging from blockbuster movies to horror Disney and music concerts and was perfectly happy with them all. It was actually so much better on the larger screen as opposed to my old playerCon'sIf I have any issues they are :-The sound does not have the option to adjust the bass and treble and although the speakers are good the sound is so much better through headphonesThe manual has little or no explanation about any of the controls on the player and nothing at all about the remote control so it was basically trial and error but I got there in the endConclusionIf you are unsure about a player this size all I can say is try it and you will not regret itQuality at a bargain priceAdditionHave received DVD case for 20 DVD's as per card which was enclosed with the player and I am surprised at the quality. It is very well made and will do the job to protect my DVD's when travelling with the player

I am very pleased with the DVD. It arrived very well packed. Using the instructions I was quickly able to plug it in and try out both a DVD and CD. Also the earphones, remote, and linking it to the TV. All worked well. I like the large screen and the display quality was very good. The sound was ok for me. When display on the TV the quality was excellent. The remote was easy to use. There is a setup menu which I haven't tried yet, but it allows adjustment for display and audio. So very pleased with what was promised and supplied. Nit disappointed But also very pleased with the supplier. I needed the new manual for the unit and [email protected] was excellent in contacting me and supplying the file. I would recommend you contact them if you have problems. Of course this is early days, but for a product with a reasonable price it does everything I want.

Ok, get the negatives out of the way. The remote control is superfluous. I use the dvd player on my knee.The dvd player is superb. Everything works as it should. The screen does Need tilting backwards and forwards to get the picture looking right, which is common to all screens of this type. The screen is huge and makes for an excellent viewing experience. Plus, it can be rotated.The sound ok, but I use headphones most of the time anyway.The dvd player was packaged really well and the box is nice, glossy, cardboard and oozed style.A truly excellent product that plays dvd's from all regions.There are way too many superlatives to list them all. A great product with a great price-point.

I brought this DVD player for my 97 year old Mother in Law, who wanted an easy to use all in one machine, that will allow her to play back her old films and personally made family DVDs.Once opened the well presented packaging, we were surprised with the quality of the player that resembles a standard 15" laptop.After a bit of coaching, My Mother in Law finds it very easy to use where the basics are handled by only 3 buttons. Power, play and stop. The machine comes with a small remote that I felt was unnecessary, adding difficulty to the operation with its very small buttons in this instance.Overall, so far, the machine is highly recommended

Wow what an amazing portable dvd player this is! It has a huge screen and although it looks like a laptop it's really light weight. The picture and sound are great too. It gets a huge thumbs up from my little one he's really enjoying watching his dvds on this 👍 Absolutely fantastic!

Bought this DVD player in November and totally satisfied with the player itself, however the charging cable became faulty, one of the 'pins' of the mains plug broke.Contacted customer service requesting a replacement. Prompt response, and they sent me a complete replacement - DVD et al! Amazing!
