Im really impressed with the appearance and sharpness of the blade itll need a bit of a honing to field dress a deer, but reasonably sharp out of the box. The sheath is also VERY nice! Will submit a new review after i field test

Note: This is an unboxing review. For a TRUE review, find a video of someone who has used it for a year or more and is obvious by visual wear. That said...The package arrived today in quite a primitive box. Simple and no branding on the box, but these knives are about practicality, not show. Opening the box was a different story. What greeted me was a beautifully thick leather sheath, imprinted with wolf paw prints, and a georgious handle. When unwrapping fully, the blade stunned me. Everything, as advertised and by inspection, is as displayed here. EXPERIENCE HOWEVER WILL BE THE DEYERMINING FACTOR. I look forward to using it and so far the spine is PERFECT for ferro rod and it was sharpened well. The knife feels solidly built. Upon all consideration of build, price, and first impressions, THIS IS WORTH THE MONEY 😃👍. We will see if the handle and rivets last after a year of SERIOUS buscraft.

Carrington case sucks. Knife drops right out. For the price, you get what you pay for.

Bought this for my son. He said the following:From my first impressions of this knife it is definitely worth the money. The knifeIs very thick and nice to hold. The blade itself is easy to sharpen and retains an edge well. The sheath is made of thick leather and holds the knife snug. I do not know how long it will hold up so take that into consideration. I would high recommend this knife and it is worth its price and is on par with knifes of higher value.

I received it today and have used it to do some minor things outside. I have small hands so one thing I look for is something that’ll fit well in my hand while using it. This is perfect. It’s a heavy knife, feels sturdy but very easy to use. It’s sharp out of the box. The sheath is nice as well. Will be part of my EDC for a long time to come.

knife slips out of the scabbard too easily. Other than that, i like the construction.
