Very educational
This book has given me understanding of what used to be a mystery to me in the Scriptures. It has all shown me that l have much reading and studying to do. I shall be purchasing more of the author's books.

I really like this guy!....
He writes very clearly, and tells us a whole lot about the Melchizedek order of priests that the Bible doesn't explain. In the process, we learn a whole lot about who the Essenes were, why they were out there in the desert away from everybody, and how John the Baptist and Jesus' ministry ties in. REALLY good stuff! Just get it!

Epic
I wish Ken referenced (cited) every scripture when explaining certain things but I know he’s summarizing scripture cuz I remember reading it but I’m not to familiar with all of it so it would be nice to have the reference there for me to find it, like where Shems school gets robbed by the Amalekites. He does show a lot of where these conclusions come from but not all of them. So if you haven’t read a lot the books without him quoting from them you won’t know where he got his info from. The priest prophet king Melchizedek order was amazingly explained. I only hit 2 dislikes in the book.1) the Levites priesthood is done away with; because in the book he quotes Ezekiel where it says the Zadok Levites will continue in the millennium, so they’re not done away with, they’re just not in place right now, there are no true Levites functioning biblically.2) The Torah being related to Melchizedek and Levi, meaning it was only under Levi so it’s not relevant under Melchizedek at all. The Torah existed before Levi, all believers before Sinai even Melchizedek functioned under Torah. So if Messiah transferred the Law and priesthood over from Levi to Melchizedek then it still applies to us all as believers as it did in times past, it’s pretty simple but people like to explain it away. You just can’t believe in the God of Israel and do whatever you want except morally, and still worship God fully. Eating unclean and profaning the sabbath always was a big deal, if you are a gentile converting to the God of Israel then all His Laws apply to you now, before they didn’t cuz you didn’t know Him, but now you do know Him so you should convert, the argument to partially convert and none of it applies to gentiles is absurd.Great book tho, certainly a puzzle no one was able to put together with just the 66 books, which teaches us there’s more to our story we are missing or neglecting. I appreciate all of Ken’s work and studies. Other then my 2 points this book is a must have for all seekers of truth, as this adds more value and weight to our Messiah’s purpose and power. King of kings and Lord of lords!!!

Worth it
This is a great book for the layperson who wants to know more about Essene writings without going into scholar-level detail. The author pulls together several sources for each of his points and makes it all understandable. He has a gift. Of course his perspective is a Christian one, so I suspect he weighs heavily on that side, (rather than a Jewish one, which would probably debunk it if possible) and since I'm not a language scholar with access to all the fragments and works, and a solid knowledge of their history, I kind of have to trust him. But he reveals several amazing details that had me praising God. I won't go into them here; you'll just have to read the book!

an opening to the truth of the unknown
When we become one of the peculiar people we are as a child seeking to know our true origin. The questions, “ who are we” and where does our beginning start and why? What better way to learn this than from those who were at the beginning and was very aware of our creator.

Now I Understand
I never understood who Melchizadek was, but studied other ideas by other authors. This book finally put everything in proper prospective. It was very easy to understand and clearly written. I loved how the author did so much research from the Dead Sea Scrolls and copied parts this book for us. I highly recommend this book.

perfect
This book is excellent. It fills in the missing details in the bible , using good source material. I now understand the relevance of Jesus of the order of Melchizedec.

A Sacred Writing
This book is so profound and unique because of Ken Johnson's depth of understanding of the theology contained within the Dead Sea Scrolls. There is so much confusion about Melchizedek in the church world, and God has used this humble and remarkable man to clear it up. I also love the fact that this book is very easy to read and understand, even though it covers a complex subject. Teachers who can break down so much information in such a simple way are gifts to the Body of Christ. Ken Johnson is just that. I feel so edified after reading this, like I was let in on something truly sacred.

Klein, aber fein!
Ist kein sehr langes Buch. Großdruck, dennoch gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr informativ!

One eyed, ill informed.
I had high hopes for this book but unfortunately it reads like a Christian who wants the Jewish scriptures to fit their theology. It doesn’t delve into Hebrew meanings or have any understanding of Jewish literature.

Eye Opening Perspective
A very useful read. Should read along with The Testaments of The Twelve Patriarchs to fully understand.
