Natural beats plastic!
It is hard to find these in our local stores, they seem to just have the plastic ones. These are perfect and feel so good. Had no idea how worn out our old one was until we got these! Some earlier reviewers complained they were not as shown &/or as perfectly matched as the picture, we did not find this to be true. This is a live organism not manufactured on an assembly line so they will vary a little, just like no 3 ears of corn are identical. Any differences were minimal and the product exactly as we had hoped.

Natural loofahs are A LOT BETTER than the cheap synthetic colorful ones
It has always puzzled me why more people don't use these. Natural loofahs are A LOT BETTER than the cheap synthetic colorful ones. For starters they actually do a good job of exfoliating your skin, secondly they do not get the gross mildew build up that the synthetic ones do so they last longer. And last but not least these are made from an all natural plant (my mom used to have a loofah plant), so they are also more sustainable and environmentally friendly! You won't regret buying these.

Good product, overpriced
Natural loofah has been THE remedy for my bacne and "rear" acne. The prices online are too steep though. I went to my local farmer's market and got a giant loofah for like $4 - giant as in like 3 feet long and then I used a bread knife to cut it into pieces. Basically 4 for the price of 1 of these. I still use a rag for delicate areas but this is what you need to slough off the dead skin and whatever on your large areas.

Almost Didn't Buy It, Glad I Did!
It's currently April as I write this, meaning all the dead skin from the winter is now trying to come off and is leaving my skin a wreck that no exfoliant will really touch. Someone suggested to me to buy a loofah. After reading the reviews of this one, I was on the fence. But I'm so very glad I bought it! It's definitely not too large, as some people say. It fits in my hand nicely, and for reference my hands are too small to hold any iPhone Plus. Other reviews said it was too stiff. Well, it's a plant. Think of it as a sponge. I soaked it for a few minutes before showering with it, and it was the perfect exfoliant for dry, winter skin. I did have to step on it at one point to break the "stem" and allow it to soak up more water. But it's perfect! Came in a three pack...and yes, there are seeds in it. Fret not! It is a plant, after all, and that's how you know it's real. I'm so happy with this!

My African grey loves these
I cut them and hang them in her cage, she likes to tear them apart.

Meh...
This 3-pack of loofah sponges arrived on time & in brand new conditioin. As they are a natural product, expect some seeds to fall out of the sponge. I bought this 3-pack based on other reviews that said this was a great product. To me, it wasn't great. I've used a loofah sponge for many years and over the last few years, they have gotten considerably harder and less pliable (bendy) which means they soak up the soap you use on them which means you scrub the holy moly out of your skin with little to no soap. What is the point of bathing if not to get clean? I know loofas are stiff but these were more stiff than others I've used. I stepped on them to soften them and to break down the fibers a bit to no avail. I twisted it in the shower once wet hoping again to soften it up a bit. Still no luck! Hesitantly, I applied body was. I knew it would happen and it did. The sponge ate up most of my soap. I twisted the loofah to release a little suds on me and used my hands to finish washing up. I'll continue to use it & hope that it breaks down but due to the hardness of the sponge, I'll not purchase this product again. I wish I would have only bought the single loofah to try it out but the 3 pack was a better deal. Buyers: Buy a single loofah if you choose to buy this product.

Too hard to use
I thought these would be great to use, they got delivered perfectly, size is big. But the problem is that they do not get soft enough to use in the shower. Every other loofah I've ever used softens and often expands a little, once dries it gets small. Not this one!
