Regal Games Tin Atomic Space Blaster Toys with Revving Gears and Cosmic Light Up Effect (2 Pack)

This is a great classic tin toy, but know that it does have some plastic parts (the lights and the edge piece that holds it together). I love the way it lights up and flashes, makes a great whirring noise too. Bought it as a nostalgic and silly stocking stuffer for an allegedly grown man and was a hit, so can't say how it would hold up to a kid who really beats their toys up or with heavy use. As long as you're not stomping up and down on it, or throwing it repeatedly against a wall I feel it's probably just fine.

I ordered one for a gift, and a second one for myself. Very nicely made product, especially for the price. It's designed after old-style "sparking" toys, where pulling the trigger would grind up a wheel inside and shoot sparks to make it light up. Pulling the trigger creates the same sound and feel of those old toys, but any "sparking" action has been removed in favor of simple LED lighting that cycles on and off.

This was for Halloween to go with an alien costume. It was exactly what we needed and looks great. I love the retro look.It is made of metal and has a metal body. The two sides of the metal are held by a plastic clip. The gun did not survive the night, but it made it through trick-or-treating. After dropping it, the plastic piece fell off and exposed the jagged edges of the metal. I'm sure the piece could be put back together, but it was not worth it for us.

They don't make toys like this anymore. No batteries required. Perfect Killer Lown accessory.

My boys love these, but the quality is a little on the flimsy side. It's made of metal and plastic but bends/breaks easy. One trigger needed to be fixed after only 30 minutes of play... Also the light sometimes stays on and drains the battery.

It’s very retro… except for the fact that it’s LED lights rather than sparks as they use to be. I suppose there is a reason but it wasn’t what I had expected. Kept it as it was a gift and the grandson liked it but he never seen the original…

I bought this for my son to go with his Halloween costume. It was the perfect addition to his space robot out fit and I even liked that it wasn’t loud. Unfortunately it only lasted that night. I tried to put it back together many times but I think because it is plastic holding tin together it would never hold. I didn’t have the heart to throw it away and my son keeps trying to play with it despite parts falling off and now its trigger can’t be pulled. It is very cute but I wouldn’t buy it again.
