To change the speed and the stars being off or in you need to go into the smart life app but the colours can be changed with Alexa commands and turning it on and off. Personally I think £50 is quite expensive for a projector that just does stars and clouds but having said that the effect looks so cool, the clouds are mesmerising, my 15 year old has led lights round his gaming desk, ceiling,shelves, tv and pc. these are a perfect addition to the ceiling, these would also be perfect for anyone making a sensory room. So relaxing to lay in your bed and look up at the cloud effect rotating. Easy to set up, the hardest part is finding the best location in the room!

The stars on this model are green and they show up very well even when it is light outside.The nebula part of the light however is where this comes into its own. Very vivid colours and a beautiful pattern displayed on the ceiling.Next, I downloaded the recommended app and installed this no problem. When I opened the app, you create an account and then can go into the setup of the light itself where you can change the colours, speed etc of the stars/nebula and can also setup schedules to switch the lamp on/off.The app also has 4 preset modes that are ok but I found that playing with the app and choosing my own preferences worked best.Lastly, I connected the app to my alexa with no hassle and can turn the lamp on/off with voice easily. I have also setup a routine with the led's in my daughters room so they both come on together and play a song for her to wake up in the morning.This is a brilliant lamp.

The nebula a bit disappointing but it does a job for £30 it's ok not worth more could not pair it with my phone the app instructions not compatible keeps telling me to press reset button there is no reset button holding power button doesn't work.

I have purchased two of these items (different versions) and both have stopped working within a week of using. The rotation of the stars and nebula stopped rotating. So different brands seem to have the same fault. Would not buy again.

I am so happy with this device the brightness and colours are perfect the only drawback that it has is that you can't change the colour of the stars apart from that it is indeed an excellent device.

I bought this item as a present for my seven year old Granddaughter. She loves it and was very pleased with the remote control, brightness and all the different lighting and effects. I can highly recommend this item for anyone who enjoys lighting effects in their room.
