PROs: - Large 29cm (~1 ft) across and lightweight - Produces an extremely bright, even, light - ring of LEDs inside lamp means that there are very few shadows. - Fairly sturdy construction ONCE installed (but see one of the CONs) - LED driver is within the overall light package, so no external 'box' to push into your ceiling space. - Installation: -- Very straightforward fitment, you don't even need the rawlplugs if you are careful -- Relatively straightforward electrical installation (but see one of the CONs)CONs: - Metal case is thin, be careful not to flex/dent it during installation. - LED driver / electrical connector within the lamp means that the light is not as 'flush' as it would otherwise be. - Similarly, pre-fitted items (LED ring, driver, connector) are screwed into the metal case and should not be removed otherwise the tapped threads will be damaged. - Wiring grommet (and indeed the electrical connector) is big enough ONLY for the L/N/E supply; consequently, you will need to connect your lighting ring/switch wiring together external to the light and push this into your ceiling cavity. - As with all LED lights of this type, once the light 'blows' the whole unit needs replacing (albeit the light has a quoted life of 30k hours.....that's a lot of showers!)Overall, a solid 4 Stars...indeed a 4.5 if Amazon has given the opportunity (so the overall 4.6 looks good).

I have purchased and installed four of these now. Very impressed by effective simplicity and excellent end result. Push fit connectors work well with ring main wire but not easy with stranded flex (provided wire is inserted correct side of clamp - not immediately obvious).Very minor fitting issues are: (i) lamp cover has to be removed from base for fitment and this removal can be disconcerting as I found it needs help by levering with a flat screwdriver next to one of the lugs that link them even when screwed to the removal position.(ii) cable entry hole is small - sufficient for little more than the three cables for connection. If you have twin cables or live ring main wires, these will need connecting in the ceiling above the lamp to reduce the number in the lamp housing.Despite these minor issues, this remains an excellent ceiling lamp and I will almost certainly purchase more for other customers.

This item arrived in damaged condition right out of the box. It wasn't damaged in transit as the packaging and plastic diffuser were fine. This being an electrical item, it gave me concerns over the overall safety of the product. Damage aside, the general design looks okay and I'm sure if would have worked. Bear in mind that if you're going to replace a UK ceiling rose with this, there are no in/out/loop terminals. You'll either need to move the junction into the roof space, or fish all the wires into the fitting and recreate those terminals with connector blocks.

The media could not be loaded.  Simple Chinese made product with press clamps for quick and easy connection to mains.Works well and gives a good amount of light.

My Electrician came and fitted it almost immediately. It covered the space the old light had occupied. What I like most of all is there is this bright easy light, no shadows anywhere. It is 5* for me. I would certainly recommend.

Looks good quality, however we ordered a square light, but received a round one which isnot what we wanted. So we had to return unit for a refund.Because of this only one star given, unfair perhaps, but we didn't have any other option

Lights up our bathroom, hall, and probably the bedrooms if door were open, very bright, but that's what I wanted.

Good and bright connectors for cables are poor quality ending up changing them for better ones
