Thin plastic but seems durable. Kid used it once and he like it, easy to carry at his school bag for picnic and he sent it back home perfectly fold which means it is simple for small kid to manage.

The beach blanket was well packaged to prevent damage. Once opened I found a very attractive blue color on the flap and a nice blue, red, and yellow check pattern on the front of the blanket. On the back of the blanket you will find a waterproof black fabric. The beach blanket folds nicely into approximately 11 1\2 inch by 8 1\2 inch square that is easy to transport and lightweight. Once opened the beach blanket measures approximately 31 1\2 inches across and 56 1/2 inches longways. It is large enough for one adult and two small children with lunch supplies. It was very easy to clean and spills wiped off well with no staining. The grass had a dew on it at the early game but we stayed dry with the beach blanket. Five stars is perfect so I deducted one star simply for the opened size of the blanket as I have a bigger family and will need a second for everyone. I recommend you thoroughly read the sellers description so you will expect its size when you open the pouch, as such I still find it a very nice beach or game day blanket. I ordered this outdoor blanket at a discount in exchange for my honest review and I really like it! The blanket is a slick waterproof material so can be used on ground that is damp or has dew fall. It is extremely thin and lightweight so this will not add a lot of bulk or weight to your luggage or bag (if you have children the amount adds up fast). In fact I could put this in my purse and carry it or it could slip right down in my diaper bag. I have a similar blanket but it is more quilted and very bulky so I am limited as to how I can carry it. The blanket folds up easily (it has crease marks so you won’t forget how to fold it!) and it has a handle so you can carry it.This is shaped similar to a beach towel so it will fit one adult just fine. I really like this for the pool, fireworks, and general sunbathing. I like to take this to the playground so I can sit while my little one plays. I will never go back to using traditional blankets for these types of activities because this is so much neater and easier to clean (sometimes all you need to do is shake off the grass, otherwise a simple wipe with a damp cloth works) But if you still wanted to use a traditional blanket you can put this under it to keep the blanket clean, which I have done and it works great. Overall it’s a great quality and I love using this!

This is a great blanket for using outdoors. It is plaid on one side and solid colored on the other side. It is reversible so you can use either side that you choose. I love that it is made from a woven type plastic material, which is great for easy cleanup once your done using your blanket. It could be easily rinsed and wiped dry. This blanket is waterproof as well. So you can use it anywhere, whether the ground is fully dry or not. The best part about this blanket is that it folds up really easily into a nice little pouch. It is very lightweight and thin, so it will store nicely and not take up much room at all. Very good for keeping in the car or in a travel bag for when I'm out and need it. I was lucky enough to receive this product during a promotion for my honest and unbiased review.

This is a great throw for outdoor use. The blanket is fairly thin and the backside is waterproof (plastic ). It rolls up easily and closes with velcro strap that is attached to blanket. It is about the size of a very large beach towel. Great for bringing to the park, the beach, or even outdoor sporting events. I would highly recommend this for anyone who has small children. It's very portable and can be easily tucked away in your car without taking up space. I did receive this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review. This blanket is so perfect for an outdoor festival, a day at the winery, or on the beach. It has a plastic like coating that makes for easy cleanup and doesn't allow sand or dirt to easily stick to it. The size of the blanket is smaller than I would have liked as it only accomadates one person. I recieved this blanket to review for my unbiased opinion.
