Not what I ordered
For nostalgia, I ordered what was pictured as "old style" Smarties tubes with the plastic end cap - these seemed to be the last of this type ever. What was delivered was, sadly, the modern hexagonal type. I know it doesn't really matter as the sweets inside are the same.....

buying correct thing
this was the second order of smarties for someone special. This order was not sealed correctly so when I opened the outer packaging 2 almost full tubes of smarties scattered over kitchen floor....... had to shut the little dog out while i retrieved all the smarties. otherwise the smarties were well received and will be ordering more laterShelagh

Not the Smarties of my childhood
Firstly all three flimsy paper tubes were bashed broken and leaking the sweets. Thank goodness I tasted them before giving them to my grandchildren. They tasted really nasty with a bitter aftertaste that lingered long into the evening. Whatever ever these are it is not Smarties and I would not feel safe giving them to children.
