Penny Coin Wrappers, Pack of 36

I had a ton of pennies, well not a ton, but a lot. I bought a few different brands of wrappers including this brand listed. These are not as sturdy as some other brands but they work fine. I have a coin counting machine with attachments for different size coin wrappers as well as normal coin bins. I tried placing these less sturdy wrappers in my machine and many times ended up recounting do to backup and spill. What worked best for this brand was to just allow the pennies to accumulate in the coin holder (with no wrapper inserted) and then transfer pennies to the wrappers manually. Just a heads-up, using coin wrappers for pennies may not be the best cost effective means of exchanging them for larger bills or depositing in your bank account (larger denominations like quarters, dimes, nickels it's well worth it). My bank will take coins in wrappers with no fee charge so that's the route I went. However, I looked at what I paid for the wrappers themselves and compared it to the fee charged by one of those coin exchange machines you see in stores and determined it was less expensive to go the route of the coin machine then to roll my own and take to my fee free bank. The difference for pennies at the time of this review is between 4-12% more rolling my own vs the store counter depending on whether you purchase the 36 of 72 pack. This adds up and is quite noticeable if you have more than $100 worth of pennies as I did. My 2cents is to compare the rates before purchasing these wrappers just for pennies so you come out ahead $$ wise in the end. If you are giving them as gifts or just storing them, then there probably is no issue as your not buying wrappers to save money. The product works as intended so I gave it 4 stars, however in the future I will crunch the numbers before purchasing this product again for pennies.

What I really like is the individual wrappers only have one end to fold which makes more secure in each roll.

Did the job as advertised. Rolled up all my pennies and ended up with an extra 80 dollars for the week. Felt very organized handing over the rolls to the teller.

I bought these specifically because they weren’t “Moolah” rolls with their dumb logo all over them. Guess what I got…a bunch of moolah rolls. I hate moolah rolls and did not want them. Returned.

They do what they are supposed to, and hold up over time

Pretty much essential for automatic coin sorters (and these work perfectly) due to the folded / rolled-over end, free versions are available from your bank. Your choice.
