Perfect!
I have been looking for a small coated cast iron pan similar to my old Le Crueset pan which is actually the lid for a small saucepan. This Mirro 6” mini cast iron skillet is perfect. Unlike other reviewers my pan came in great shape - no chips or cracks. In reading the documentation that came with the pan, I do not see having those issues. Just like my Le Crueset pots and pans, I am careful. I spray it with Pam or oil, cook over medium heat, let the pan cool before washing by hand and drying it, and store it without any pan over or under it. I expect this pan to last for many years. By the way, I use it every day for frying an egg for breakfast. I wish it had come with a lid, but fortunately I have a small sauce pan lid that fits perfectly.

EVERYTHING STICKS TO IT
I have multiple cast iron pans and ceramic coated pots and pans. This one is UNUSABLE! EVERYTHING STICKS to it. The enamel is chipping off the outside which is a minor problem comparatively .I would love my money back but that's probably not going to happen. I have never written a 1 star review before and I buy most everything off Amazon. BEWARE this skillet isn't worth $10 buck let alone what they are charging.

Not nonstick as I'd hoped
I was hoping this would be a nonstick pan to replace the teflon-like pans I used to use. Alas, it is not the same as those. I tried it with the fake vegan eggs (Just Egg) and they stuck like crazy. They do not stick to the "non-stick" teflon-like pans but do to everything else. It's a cute little pan, just not what I was hoping for. The problem is in the product (vegan eggs). I'm not a big fan of these fake products anyway, since I'm allergic to many of the components, like soy. And I don't do canola oil usually. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to regular eggs so am trying to find a substitute. I'm giving up on the fake eggs and will use the pan for something else. It's a good size to melt butter, for instance. It's pretty heavy and well made, so I gave it four stars. I used it on different heat settings, used plenty of avocado oil, experimented, but could not get it to be nonstick, so made several batches inedible.

I like this enameled cast iron skillet but it gets hot and it’s heavy
This is a great enameled cast iron skillet I cook with it very often . The only thing is this skillet is heavy and the handles will get hot so be very cautious. The skillet cooks well, and it’s easy to clean and you don’t have to worry about keeping the skillet oiled up.

A nice little frying pan
This cast iron frying pan does the job. With proper care, I think it will last a long time.

Pan good. Shipping awful. Be prepared to return multiple times.
First and foremost, while the company and the logo are the same, this is NOT the same Mirro that made better-quality aluminum kitchenware for decades--that company failed and was bought out by IMUSA, an offshore company that acquired the trademark back in 2003-ish and has started to produce a few items under the brand for US consumers. That said, the product itself is pretty good. The pan is reasonably thick-walled, the enamel is a little heavy, but very solid, and the overall manufacturing seems reasonably good. I'd compare this to similar pans that retail somewhat above this in price--think 'Sur La Table in-house', not 'Le Creuset', which is a significant cut above. Nevertheless, it's certainly worth the price paid. I bought the 6" skillet, which arrived fine, and the dutch oven, which, because it was boxed by the manufacturer, also arrived in good shape.I'm now attempting to get a 12" skillet to my home in one piece. Amazon has failed me three times so far, hoping fourth time is the charm, but I'm going to buy elsewhere now. Just in case somebody who cares on the Amazon end is paying attention, PLEASE STOP SHIPPING heavy enameled pots without adequately padding them, and especially when you put TWO of them in one shipment! A 12-inch piece of paper wadded into one corner will not keep something like this from rattling around, and when it hits the floor, it WILL chip.Minor irritation with the !@#!$^ sticker they put in the bottom of the inside of the pan. It's a royal PITA to get all of the backing adhesive out--had to resort to mechanical means to get that sucker out of the dutch oven, as I didn't want to use a solvent on the inside of kitchenware. If it was on the outside of the pan, I'd have been fine, so Mirro, either find a different sticker adhesive, or move it to the outside.Again, if you're willing to put up with the shipping and sticker frustration, this seems to be a very reasonable option for a well-built, white-interior enameled cast iron skillet. Hopefully I can actually use one someday...

Bruh - the label
Skillet looks nice enough. Gave it a thorough looking over to check for cracks, chips or dings in the enamel. For the most part it looks like the enamel is pretty uniform, or at least as much as can be expected for a $40 enameled cast iron skillet."Why 3 stars?" you may be asking. Look at the attached photo. When it was time to decide where to permanently attach a barcode label with seemingly "forever glue", who is the genius who decided, "You know what? BOOM - right on the cooking surface, that's where."? Seriously, I have scraped and scrubbed and boiled with everything that is enamel/cooking surface safe and it *will not* come off. I'm sure there are compounds out there that will easily remove it, but they're also probably the kind that turn your insides into your outsides.I have another idea or two but if those don't work, this skillet - and the Chinesium forever glue residue - are heading right back to Amazon. Either way, I will update this review accordingly.
