This is absolutely perfect.It is well built and feels substantial but not too heavy. This design means it folds away instead of having to dismantle and reassemble before and after every use. It comes is a nice bag and it fits in it perfectly.The only issue I see is your own personal set up, ie what iPad/tablet you're using and camera. I have an older iPad which is considerable heavier than my Canon 200D, but it just something to be aware of.The only negative is that I would have preferred the the black cover to go completely around the underside of the frame as well as the glass section, as it will allow a bit of light through between the reflective glass and tablet, but this isn't anything major.This set up makes you look incredibly professional and it can be set up and ready to use in approx 3-4 mins, which is very impressive. This is going to make life a lot easier and give your talent the confidence that they can read a script and not have to concentrating on remembering their lines.

Build was fine but none of the bottom support holes fit any of my tripods. Not ideal. Sent it back and bought the bigger 16" version

I recommended to be honest I just return because I didn't have the same camera but is good quality product to have if you have a profesional camera and tablet :)

I've got set of different tripods in Standard size 1/4-20 UNC threadAnd neither of them I was able to secure to the base plate of this teleprompterWhich makes this piece of equipment to be useless?

Easy to assemble and get working. Ensure you have an app on your iPad or equivalent that will mirror the text. For the money, it is well worth it.
