Croakies Floater Eyewear Retainer

I can't see worth a darn without my glasses so I usually have them on in the water unless I'm doing something "extreme". I lost a pair at a lakeside water park this summer that were several years old and not my current prescription I called my "water glasses". They were secured with a strap, but still came off on a water slide that emptied into deep lake water. Scratch that pair. New glasses were on the way anyway, so when I "demoted" the glasses I wore for everyday to "water glasses", I got this Croakies floating strap. I haven't had them come off, but I did test the strap at a lake and let go of my glasses under water. The strap floated to the top and the bright yellow coloring made it easy to spot.

Wore it in the ocean on vacation and it worked great. My glasses came off only once and when they did they floated. I loved it !

They are a bit small so once they are attached to my sunglasses, it is difficult to take off and have around my neck without it hitting my nose and chin. They do work and keep my sunglasses from sinking if they fall off when on the boat.

Originally I struggled to get these to fit onto the temples of my glasses, but they loosened up just fine after a little use. I love using these whenever I'm on the water. They give me confidence that I'll never lose my glasses in the lake!

They work as advertised. I tested them to see if they would float my glasses, and they do. They're also secure enough that it seemed unlikely their flotation would be necessary. I think that since my sunglasses are prescription and I never actually take them off and set them down while I'm out, the flotation was an unnecessary feature which also serves to make them look a little silly. If I did it over again I would get something a little more fashionable, but if this is something you need don't hesitate, they work great.

Stitching that holds the glasses can start getting loose after frequent use, but they work perfectly and worth the investment.

This product is horrible. It wouldn't fit my eyeglass ear pieces and us very shabby. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Easy to attach to glasses and light weight so I hardly notice it. So far I have not lost my glasses in the water kayaking or sailing so I can't say how well they would float and hopefully I never do.
