Medium Dust Bee Gone Mask - Blue Edging

I work in a garage workshop with a wood lathe and the wood I usually work with is red cedar. This stuff creates a fine dust that takes me two hours to clear from my nose and throat, regardless of the mask I have on. I have tried everything from cowboy bandanas to expensive 3M masks. The first time I used this mask, it was like I was in paradise. Absolutely no fogging up my safety glasses and I could actually breathe clearly during wood cutting and right after.I love this thing and am going to get a second.

This is very pricey, but well worth it. This is my second mask, my first being a bit too big. I’m so glad to have a medium. It saves me when the grass and trees are pollinating.

The straps were poorly put together. The metal rod for the nose was also poking out. Not sure if I received a bad one or not.

This is easy to put on and take off. I can breath easily with it on and it covers good. I'd recomend it to anyone thats serious about their woodworking.

I bought one of these, sending mine back for a refund, on packet it says works for cutting grass, 30s with this mask on felt like I had no mask on, I suffer really badly with my chest etc, I could not breathe with this mask on, this mask might do for other things but does nothing for pollen etc for me anyway. I've being using a 3m mask with filters that is for painting toxic paint, even that mask I can't breathe in that after 10 mins, prob down to my chest is getting worse.

The Dust Bee Gone is light weight and more comfortable than a disposable mask. However it does not work any better. Both use a bendable wire to form fit around the nose. This does not seal well and allows contaminants in and your breath out which fogs glasses. A disposable valved sanding mask does a better job of protection and can be bought in 10 packs for a fraction of the price. I now use a high quality half face respirator which will keeps all the bad stuff out of my lungs and is less expensive than the Dust Bee Gone.

So, I thought the price for this mask was a bit much, but the reviews said it works well. Besides keeping out particles, it does NOT fog up my glasses. The fact that it does not fog up my glasses and that it is washable/reusable makes it a 5-star product for me.
