I used this for exterior downlighting on the front of my house because its hard to find options with narrow beam angles, even here on amazon. With a range of 15-60°, this gave me the option of adjusting to find the angle that looks best depending on the height and direction of the fixture. I wish more companies did this, because I still need to find can lights that (at least somewhat) match these, which I think are perfect. I can't comment on lifespan yet but they all work so far and I will update if one burns out. I wish there were more options for color temps and dimmability, but for my project these work great.**Check them when you get them**I ordered 6 of these so I could have one as replacement. As luck would have it, the one I put on the shelf had come with a broken/rattling LED inside. I found out by accident, I opened it to show a contractor buddy how cool they are. Then I saw I almost missed my 30-day return window, but the seller shipped another good one and everything is great now. So don't do what I did, make sure you test them all because these bulbs are expensive.

I'm an electrical lighting engineer, and was impressed when I sampled this bulb when first bought a few months back here on Amazon. That first bulb was a very high and accurate color bulb (see first picture). However, this second bulb was no where near the same quality (second picture), and lab testing it revealed less than 70 CRI. I contacted TEXSENS for a resolution... they sent me another (3rd) bulb. It was the same poor quality as the second. I was planning to start specifying these bulbs in our building designs, but now I won't. Sorry, you only get one shot TEXSENS.

I've been looking for the perfect bulb to focus light on a new art piece and these work great! Great light color and pattern too.

Just what I was looking for...nice round dot of light on the floor from small to wide...

Got it for less than a week, it flickers. I return it, too bad though, the idea is good.

If you want a "spotlight" effect with warm lighting - these are it! Most "LED" spotlights throw light everywhere and there is nothing "spot" about them. I've went through dozens. The other extreme they call "pin" lights - those are great ... if your a DJ. Somewhere in the middle are these and these are the only ones that let you adjust how wide the spot is.

After one week, they started to flicker.Got rid of the dimmer and it still flickers.

Needed some narrow beam bulbs to create ambient lighting for my collection in my gaming room. These worked perfectly !
