Hell in a Cell
This DVD contains the full 2020 This DVD contains the full 2020 Hell in a Cell event, featuring three Hell in a Cell matches, on a single disc. It also contains a match from the pre-show featuring a 24/7 Championship match between Drew Gulak and R-Truth, it was a match that didn't interest me at all but is still a nice bonus feature to include.Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso - The first match of the night was also the first Hell in a Cell match. It was for the Universal Championship and was also held under "I Quit" rules. It was a continuation of their match from Clash of Champions, with more of an emphasis on telling a story rather than the in-ring action. The in-ring action wasn't bad at all, but it wasn't the focus here; normally that would be a complaint but these two did it so well that it draws you in. It has a slower pace so it can tell that story so if you're not invested in what they're doing then you may find it plodding, but if you liked their Clash of Champions match, this one is even better. A strong start to the show.Jeff Hardy vs. Elias - This match was alright. The action wasn't bad at any point but it certainly wasn't memorable either, it just felt like filler. It didn't go on for too long but it didn't have a good finish either. That would normally be a bad thing but since it wasn't a match of any importance it was fine, we got to see Jeff get some revenge on Elias and so I'm not complaining about that decision. Nothing special as a match though.Otis vs. The Miz - This was for Otis' Money in the Bank contract. It was another match that was just fine, with nothing either especially good or memorable about the majority of the action. John Morrison and Tucker on the outside played a part in the action, which probably helped it overall. It didn't overstay it's welcome and had a surprising finish. It had it's moments and was decent overall.Bayley vs. Sasha Banks - This was the second Hell in a Cell match of the night, this time for the Smackdown Women's Championship. This was a fantastic match. The action was amazing from start to finish and kept up a fast pace. There were plenty of creative spots and you could really feel the hatred between the two competitors. It got a good amount of time to really make this something special, it built well and had a really strong finish. Even the moments after the match when they were still selling their rivalry were great. Easily the match of the night and one of the best of the year too. Should have been the main event.Bobby Lashley vs. Slapjack - This was for the United States Championship and was an unadvertised open challenge for any member of Retribution. It was another match that just felt like it was here to fill time, which is a shame because there's plenty of people that weren't on this card that I'd have rather seen. The match was nothing special and was over fairly quickly. There was nothing memorable here but they did need something to separate the Hell in a Cell matches.Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton - This was the main event of the night and was for the WWE Championship. It was another very good Hell in a Cell match. The pace was somewhere between the other two, with a faster pace than the opener but a more methodical one than the Women's Championship match. They had a really good brawl in and around the cell and also ended up on the outside at one point, fighting on the roof of the structure and one of the men coming off the side of the Cell and through an announce table. It built well, had some good near-falls and a good, strong finish. This was a really good show. It might not sound like it because only three out of six matches were any good, but those three matches were given the most time by far and took up the majority of the night's action. Having three cell matches could have been overkill but they delivered three very different styles of match inside the cell which meant they didn't feel repetitive or overdone. The other three matches didn't harm the show or anything and were perfectly watchable, but I'd recommend this event either way to see the Hell in a Cell matches themselves.

HELL OF A NIGHT!
Here we go again with a hell in a cell event, but they really did try with this one and no stupid endings. They give us three hell in a cell matches in this year's version but as much as it felt like overkill,it was all very impressive, well most of it.We start off as ROMAN REIGNS defends his title AGAINST JAY USO again, but this time in a cell and with i quit rules. We get the same story going on of REIGNS wanting to be seen as superior to JAY but it is done with more impact with a more brutal style and Roman making it clear he will stop at nothing to get what he wants.Jay once again proves his worth and make this a tough match for his cousin. The end could be seen as bit bit frustrating but i thought it was well done and smart thinking, reaally liked this one.JEFF HARDY vs ELIAS brings the excitement down a bit,it;'t not awful, just doesn't do much.MIZ challenges OTIS for his money in the bank case and it is a so so match but it is more about what the match does,so not so good a match but at least it provides something.BAYLEY defends her title against ex-buddy SASHA BANKS in a cracking hell in a cell match. Plenty of top spots, nice use of most things but Bayley does try making some stick contraption which looked ridiculous and soon forgotten about. But all in all this match was really impressive,2 top talents really putting their all in to it and a great match end, loved it.SLAPACK vs BOBBY LASHLEY. Lashley defends his US title against retribution member SLAPJACK and it is a nothing match,a waste of time really. The main event sees DREW McINTYRE defend against RANDY ORTON again but in a cell this time and sure it kind of drags a bit at time as we have just witnessed 2 cracking cell matches so maybe this was overkill, but to be fair they really tried to make it stand out from the others and it wa a perfectly good match, all be it a long one, perhaps too much of a good thing? The end was unexpected and at least brought something to the night. So a really impressiive event with very few gripes and those are minor, thumbs up from me.
