didn't use on a boat, but works well on any 2000grit sanding. I use 3m perfect-it rubbing compound 1st, then this to take out swirls. Plus, i do not have to wax too, its done! Great!

I have a 37 foot gel, coat motorhome and use this compound to remove all oxidation and restore it to new condition works great

Really convenient having the polish and wax combined in one product and the finish you get is excellent. My boat had some light fading and after one pass it looked like it just came off the lot. Saves time and money versus buying two separate products.
