Remove the plastic protectors
Great product for my needs.. I was about to return it cose the mouse felt weird and was not easy to move on a mouse pad.. Until I relised the Teflon feeter gliders were actualy covered with a protective plastic film.. A great protection but soo well covered I never noticed it before ..

Great form and function at a great price
My requirements were a full-sized wireless keyboard with volume hotkeys and with insert-home-pageup keys in a row above delete-end-pagedown, because I use these frequently and alternate configurations annoy me. This more than met my expectations, and at the lowest price point! It's actually slightly wider than my previous keyboard (which I consider a good thing) while wasting little space and feels comfortable to type on. It's very slim for a full-size keyboard and does have slim-profile keys, although I did not notice them being any more difficult to press than any other keyboard. It does feel like a cheap plastic, but for the first few weeks it's worked perfectly... simply plug in the tiny USB adapter, put batteries in the keyboard and mouse, and it's good to go! The battery compartment on the keyboard also has a hidden holder for the USB adapter when not in use, which is nice if you're ever travelling with the keyboard. It does have a few quirks that I don't love, but not significant enough for me to ding it:-Mouse goes to sleep to save battery life, and requires a button press to wake up. This is probably a good thing, but takes getting used to.-The windows key is on the right side of the space bar instead of the left side. I don't use this key enough to care, but it also takes some getting used to.-The mouse uses a single AA battery. This is probably more efficient, especially with its sleep mode, but the fit is tight enough that it's a bit difficult to remove the battery.-The keyboard uses two AAA batteries. I'd rather it use AA's on principle just for the longer life span, but haven't had it long enough to see the battery life yet.

Extremely good value
I was looking for a tactical wireless keyboard to improve my typing. I needed wireless to reduce clutter on my desk. My old keyboard was a logitech wave and it was bad. The keys were dished but typing was slow as all the keys stuck, it might have been defective.I was looking at expensive options like logitech and cherry. I wanted a keyboard mouse combo. I heard bad reviews about the cherry mouse so passed. The logitechs were very costly and some didn't have a keyboard mouse combo that used one receiver. I don't have my ports so that was a slight issue.I saw this set for ridiculously cheap (13.44) and bought it because it offed a unified reciever and the price was too good. The keys are a little mushy due to the membrane but still types much faster than what I was using. The mouse is almost identical to form and buttons as my logitech mouse. The only difference is the logitech is heavier and maybe a tiny bit larger.Logitech keyboards do not have a standard layout and are missing the list button. They usually replace that with a "fn" function button. I like using the keyboard more than mouse so having that mouse button on the keyboard speeds my productivity.I will probably upgrade to a logitech but much later. This keyboard is serving me fine. I really wanted a better typing experience but could not justify paying $100 or more when this is perfectly adequate. The most expensive keyboards and mouses (mice?) are aimed a gaming and have much reduced function for productivity so I can't justify that.Although inexpensive and cheap it is a good combo and spoils me a bit especially considering the price. Would make a good back up set or even a main. Better than sets I have bought that cost $40 or more.

Great Value for Money - Slim & Quiet Keys
This is my second time purchasing this keyboard because I've been so happy with it. The only reason I had to replace the first one is because I tend to be a very hard typer and I broke the backspace key but that is after 3 yrs of daily use. But for the under $25 price tag, you can't go wrong. It's also super slim and has a very quiet keys which I always look for because I am a hard typer. I've never had any issues with connection or response time like some other reviewers have mentioned but I also use it directly in front of my laptop so it's never more than a foot away.
