Good value for the price
It’s adorable-I just expected the finish to be shinier like the photo. It’s seriously matte but I guess it’s ok? Not sure if I’ll need to varnish it. The strings look good There was an Aquila label......The pegs stay put so it’s defintely worth the extra $10 for that.It came with 2 picks, a strap and a electronic tuner. Pretty cool. The only real issue so far is the plastic nut bridge on the bottom. As I got better and played chords and faster notes, the strings slid around and made weird sounds. I replaced it with a bone nut and got much better sound. That was another $8 but since this means I got a uke, tuner, case, picks and strap for less than $50 I can’t really complain. The plastic bridge on the neck is ok. The body is good, the tuning pegs are the best I’ve seen on a use of this price point. I really appreciate it came with the tuner.

Worth the Price
I am VERY happy with the quality of this uke and the tuner. The strap is a little awkward to use (not what I expected. Use it by hooking it into the bottom of the sound hole, running it beind the body, and looping the strap around your kneck.) Uke holds a tune well after a week or so of daily tuning and use. Tuner is easy to figure out, (especially when coupled with some Cynthia Lin videos on YouTube). For a first time musician, I am very pleased with the overall sound and comfort of use.

Solid ukulele but the strings are really hard.
My husband and I got ukuleles as something small to keep us entertained when we start living on the road full time. This one is mine and he got a different brand so I have some good comparisons. The mahogany ukulele is solid and produces a great sound. Our other ukulele has a tin can sound to it but this one is more rugged and solid so it doesn't give off an echoing noise. The carrying case is much better than the one that came with my husband's and the tuner and strap were great additions. Before we had a tuner, we were using an app on our phone but since we got the tuner we stopped using the app completely because it's so easy to use.My only complaint is the strings. The strings on my husband's ukulele are easier to hold down than the strings on this one. I have to press so hard to hold down these strings, it actually makes the tips of my fingers go numb. I dont have this issue with our other ukulele.Overall it's a nice ukulele though!

Fantastic Ukulele
This ukulele is absolutely beautiful and makes a perfect gift! Our older son has a ukulele and naturally his baby brother wanted one too after a couple of years, so we decided to purchase this one for him for Christmas. It was pretty in the photos online but in person it's seriously gorgeous! The wood is beautiful and the sound is perfect once it's tuned. It comes with a carrying case, a strap, a second set of strings, picks, and a tuner. It's everything you need for a beginning ukulele player! I seriously couldn't be happier with this purchase! I'd highly recommend this item.

Came completely out of tune, but that’s a easy fix
The media could not be loaded. 5/5 such an amazing ukulele c:, I am a complete 12-year old beginner and even though this came completely out of tune, I tuned it easily (5 minutes) with a tuner app. The color and craftsmanship is great also! Also shipped really fast. Recommend 100000/10!!! (The last A string was a bit off in the video, though I have to mention one thing, the strings get off-key really easily so that’s a downside.)

Very well made!
I bought this for my husband for his first Father's Day. He hasn't played in almost 8 years. It's been fun to watch him relearn and play for our daughter. She just listens with this expression of amazement and bewilderment. I, knowing nothing about ukeleles, thought this looked like a good one to try out, and my husband commented that it's one of the nicer ones hes owned. So hes very happy with it. It's nice to have an instrument in the house again.

Not bad, but not entirely good...
This is a nice, beginner instrument that arrived during the pandemic. This was not my first choice, but after weighing my desire to start playing again, the shipping on the other choices, and the overall cost, I decided to get this one.Plays nice but the strings do take some getting used to. And about the strings; if you decide to get some others to change the ones it comes with out, YOU CAN'T!!! There is no back panel that can be removed to facilitate the changing of the strings since they have to be threaded from inside of the ukulele. Also, expect it to take one to two weeks for the instrument to hold in tune. The strings need time to adjust, I guess. And don't believe the hype that you need an amp; plenty of sound without one.Overall, not too disappointed...My wife and I love playing and learning new songs together and it did what I hoped it would do; spark my interest again in playing music!

Fabulous beginner uke
Case is cheap but good for storage in the house, the strings are good quality and easy to see with the coloured option. The picks are flexible and easy to use. The booklet that comes with it is basic and seems to be translated into English. But there are plenty of resources online that are better such as the Chordify app. The uke has a bright sound. The strap is rubbish as it doesn’t actually attach to the uke, it has a big hook that hooks the middle which doesn’t serve the purpose as it’s hard to play it when the strap is on as it interferes with the strings. Overall I use it daily and was a good cheap starter instrument

Achtung!!!
