Anna and Sarah Premium Georgian Raw Fresh Pecans in Shell (4.5 Lbs in Bag)

We are very happy with these pecans. We live in an area where pecans grow, but for some reason you can't find them in the stores here. If you buy mixed nuts, you're lucky to get 5 pecans in a bag of mostly almonds and hazelnuts. So a whole bag of pecans is a treat!!

Anna and Sarah’s have great quality products. They deliver on time with the utmost freshness. So far everything I have tried tastes great and the size is contains the right amount.

The pecans shells were dirty, kind of a clay film that needed to be washed off. The pecans were a little dry and fell apart when cracking, I’m not sure how fresh they are. The more I get into the box, the more I think these pecans are old. They come out flakey and dry, not much flavor, never whole. I won’t be buying anymore from this supplier.

These pecans were just as described! The picture was exactly correct. I have had some bad experiences in the not too distant past with some of the pecans I have ordered. The picture displayed a large, tender pecan but when I received them they were not very good, tasteless, small and the shells were hard to crack, almost inedible. I will be a repeat customer with this company for sure!

I miss my grandparents boxes of annual Alabama pecans shipped to us fresh from their tree orchard. Reminiscing I just had to order some and this was my selection. These are not as plump or fresh perhaps because obviously they're not fresh off the ground. BUT I thought that they were a good substitute. Another thing to be aware of with pecans when you're ordering them is they should come to you clean (meaning without dirt and leaves twigs etc.). These were definitely clean. We cracked maybe 24 of them randomly just to see how they were quality wise. Those on the top were equal in quality to those on the top and in the middle of the bag.

I am a foster mom to two orphaned squirrels and I also have 6-10 outside wild squirrels that come visit for a great snack. Not only is the taste important for myself (cause I love nuts just as much as my squirrel babies) but I want them to have a great quality snack as well. I have ordered from many places and BY FAR 1000% Anna and Sarah are the best nuts I have found and the price beats anyone else for bulk nuts that are this quality. I have ordered several 4.5lb bags (both walnuts and pecans) and never rotten or shriveled up and easy to get out of shell. I have yet to receive a bad shipment. I do not have to hesitate on hitting that reorder button, I am super happy with Anna and Sarah!

We have a great pecan tree but the squirrels got to them this year so I ordered them online from the company for holiday pies. Delivery was fast although I thought the pecans were expensive. The shells seemed hard and I had to pick the meat out. The meat was soft, almost stale, many were actually rotten. We have a Texas Native Pecan and the taste is so good, I guess I had high expectations. Maybe this batch was a fluke, hope so.

These Georgia pecans are fresh and delicious. Southeast pecans are my preference as they are plump, meaty and flavorful. Southwest pecans are drier and often prefered for baking but you can't beat Southeast for just plain eating!
