32oz Vacuum Sealed Stainless Steel Lid -NO Plastic No Straw- Wide Mouth with Bonus Vesuvius 32 oz/0.95 Liter

This is a fantastic product. Ive been searching for an all stainless steel mug with no plastic and im very glad i found this bottle. It is fantastic! And it holds a lot, 32 oz is a great size. When i make tea or coffee in the morning before work it stays hot for my entire shift of 10 hours! And i mean hot, not just warm. The outside of the container doesnt get hot which is very helpful considering the heat would make it very difficult to hold if it did get hot. I found it very surprising how long the coffee/tea i make stays hot while not heating the outside of the container. This bottle is also very easy to clean. The only downside to this product is the fact it comes with an extra plastic lid and plastic holder, but im glad thats not the only option. At least the plastic lid comes with an extra silicone seal incase you lose or ruin the one that comes with the stainless steel lid. The stainless steel lid has a handle attached to it which makes it very convenient to carry it. You can also attach a D clip to the handle and attach it to a belt or backpack which is also very convenient.

I actually purchased this to store our half and half in the fridge. I wanted something that would fit an entire quart in an airtight dark container. I read somewhere that glass and opaque containers for milk products is not the best to keep it at its peak longer. It is beautifully constructed but it doesn't pour as well as I thought it would. Lot's of drips and I have to clean the edge a lot. The seal itself is a little tricky. Since I am using it for a different purpose this may not be important to most. While again it is a high quality container -- I was a little disappointed with the gasket in the lid. It really does stay super cold (which was important to me) and it is fairly air-tight when closed properly AND it fits the whole quart nicely. I can now keep the half n half in the fridge door and not worry about early spoilage. Very nicely made and super durable. I would buy again for camping purposes. I think it's too big for one person's thirst needs on a walk --- but perfect for long rides and camping. I love the handle on the screw cap.

Nice product but more expensive than it is worth. Will not buy again.

I have been trying to convert my husband to 100% non-plastic drink containers for years with mixed results. He even has huge 0.95 liter plastic mugs that he drinks hot tea out of, which makes me just cringe as I believe the toxic chemicals leached out plastic to be detrimental to his health. I decided to splurge and make the transition complete by searching for a container that would meet all his needs. Ekotology Vesuvius is the answer to my prayers and worth every penny! (I ended up returning the Kleen Kanteen all stainless steel interior with bamboo cap because this product is far superior!) I love this bottle for too many reasons to count. Most importantly, only heavy duty, food grade stainless steel (and the tiniest bit of food grade silicone) are touching your liquids (unless you use the bonus lid-don't do it!). There is no metallic taste. The lid screws on easily and quietly without making a high pitched, annoying squeal like the Kleen Kanteen did. The silicone ring detaches for proper washing/sanitation where as the one inside the Kleen Kanteen did not and was permanently adhered to the stainless steel. A stainless steel shaker ball easily fits inside the Ekotology Vesuvius to mix up your protein shakes. This container cleans up super easy and it is easy to fit a towel inside to hand dry it. It is double insulated so boiling hot liquids are cool to the touch on the outside when holding the container. It is brushed stainless steel so it is not blinding in the sun and keeps fingerprints to a minimum. It fits beautifully inside all the different insulated lunch bags we have. I love that the top stainless steel handle easily folds down. This same handle is used to attach the container to my husband's backpack via heavy duty carabiner. I have not seen this container sweat with boiling hot liquids or ice cold water. The design is extremely sleek, simple, and elegant. To top it off, my 15 month old baby loves to drink out of this container and carry it around as well. The only thing I found disappointing was the bonus items that were made of plastic which defeats the purpose of the item. I immediately put those into recycling. Wish they would make a bonus stainless steel screw on food grade silicone sports lid (like Pura) and silicone holder instead.

Good water jug, not a great insulator and prone to water leakage if the lid isn't screwed on firmly. I wanted a water jug that wasn't plastic and wasn't prone to breaking like glass is. This does a good job as a water holder but doesn't have especially good thermal insulating properties if that is important to you. I enjoy this water jug. It holds a liter so its a good dose of water.

This water bottle really keeps my cold beverages cold and my hot beverages hot. It's a pretty good size too, in that it's not too heavy, but holds enough to keep you going a few hours. I love the strong metal handle; it makes carrying it so convenient. It's made of good quality metal and everything is easily washable. I seriously love this water bottle and it was totally worth the price.

The bottle can be hard to open with hot water inside if you are using the stainless steel lid. The problem happens mostly when you have very hot water in the bottom, which is the whole point of not having plastic. The lid easily get crooked when you try to unscrew the lid to open the bottle while there are hot water inside. And it can get into a situation where it is near impossible to open the lid. Once the liquid inside cools down, it becomes easier to open. I think it has to do with the stainless steel material on the side... easy to get expanded when hot. So now I am afraid of tightening the stainless steel lid whenever I have hot water inside... which completely defeats the point of having a vacuum bottle with no plastic. I have to resort to using the black plastic lid... but that's plastic
