FIT: Slightly larger than expected, even a little too long for my largest DE Razor (Parker 99R) that measures 4.25". It will fit, of course, but for a smaller DE Razor such as the Merkur 1904 that only measures 3.25", the case becomes comical. It will however fit - and is perhaps better designed for - a standard cartridge razor. The one I show in my picture is a Mach-3 compatible handle that is slightly longer than the standard.QUALITY: Based on its $15 cost, the leather case is well made, with evenly spaced stitching and a good finish/tanning to the leather that I expect will be resilient even in some moisture. The sheep leather is supple and the tongue fits well in its keeper. The embossed logo is not detracting, but I wish it wasn't there.VALUE: Good value for the money, with free shipping through Amazon Prime.CONCLUSION: A nicely made stylish case, but really not ideally suited for most DE Razors (as described) unless we are talking of the larger ones. In terms of utility, it will however accommodate a cartridge razor as well. To make a "one size fit all" in this design, would be a challenge. Although I am pleased with the purchase, but I would not recommend unless you are planning on using it for the larger DE or for Cartridge Razors.I purchased this item at full price from Amazon and hope my review will help you make a well informed purchase decision.

It is a cool case, but it has a HUGE logo stamped on the front that isn't on the product picture. So if you're ok with that, you might like it.

High quality but it is a little long for most safety razors. Have to fold over more than it should than the top doesn't fit very good in the area it is supposed to

I picked this case up for my Merkur Futur DE razor that i recently got for travel. My other DE razor (Merkur Vision) was too large and I was afraid that I was cutting up the interior of my Briggs & Riley kit.This case is somewhat thin leather, and as other have said, it's got a very large logo pressed into the cover flap. it does cover the Merkur cutting head quite well, and seems like it'll be a good travel kit for when I have to hit the road.Having said that, the Futur handle isn't super long, and the razor kind of "floats" in the case. To properly secure the flap, i have it pulled down almost to the end of the case- If you had a longer-handled razor, I think it might work a bit better.

This is a big razor holder!Quality is very good.The longest razor I own is a vintage Gillette Black Beauty, and it fits perfectly in this case. Anything smaller, the case can still be used but you might want to use a rubber band to help keep it in the case.To help some wet shavers get a scale of the size of this travel case, a Muhle R41 is almost too small, and a Merkur 34C gets lost in this case. If I throw a rubber band around the case, around the bottom of the razor head, the case works just fine.I like how this case protects the entire razor, rather than those travel cases that slide over and only protect the head of the razor which leaves the handle exposed to getting banged up.

I like it. It is large enough to fit all of my DE razors (my largest is a Parker 98R) with room to spare. It is well made and the fact that the sides are open mean that if I shave in the morning before a cruise or a flight the razor has a bit of air circulation in my dopp kit while still being protected.The loop and flap instead of a snap allows the razor to be snugged down firmly into the case. As far as the embossed logo on the front is concerned, IMHO, I think it's cool. It's sort of the Coat of Arms "Zorro" would have on the wall of his Hacienda if he used a razor instead of a sword.

Good quality but a tad on the large side.
