Good non-enriched rice!
I never consume fortified/enriched rice, because of my methylation defect c677t. I must avoid folic acid, which is SYNTHETIC folate. (I supplement with methylfolate to ensure I get enough folate which is the same as vitamin B9.) I also enjoy other non-enriched rices such as basmati rice, and jasmine rice. I'd order this rice again.

WORST RICE EVER! Will NOT cook completely. DO NOT Waste your $ on it.
Have eaten a lot of rice over the years. This has to be THE WORST Organic White Rice ever. THE ABSOLUTE WORST. Avoid it.** When I opened the bag a smell of some kind of cheap detergent perfume hit me. OK - figured maybe it had been sitting in a warehouse with that smell nearby. Decided to try it before sending it back... And then as I was opening the bag I looked at the back and saw:**The Best By Date: Sept 2024. SO >>> by the time I got this stuff (today 1-7-24) it had been in the bag for YEARS. OK - still decided to cook up a cup.The white rice I've bought over the past 60 years (organic or not) is cooked this way: 1 cup rice to 2-2.25 cups water. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes and then cook on low for 10 minutes and then turn off heat and let sit for 20 mins. The result has ALWAYS been perfect rice. ALWAYS.So that's the way I cooked this stuff (I did add an extra 1/4cup water to compensate for the age of this rice based on the outdated sell by date. After the 20 mins sitting time I tried it.** Still hard and crunchy. NOT COOKED. So I added another 1/4 cup water, put on low heat for 10 mins, let sit another 20mins and still NOT thoroughly cooked. Some grains are half mushy and the other half are still dry and NOT COOKED.Flavor? NONE altho there is the occasional hint of detergent perfume.Advise from me: DON'T buy it. This stuff is a blend of very old rice and newer rice and is I think being dumped on the market.
