How do you clean the micofiber pad?

To clean the microfiber, spot clean with warm water and mild soap. Blot out excess moisture with a clean dry towel and air dry. To clean the bristles, rinse with warm water and squeeze out the excess moisture with a clean dry towel. Reshape the brush and lay flat to air dry with bristles extended.

is the cloth replaceable?

It's not a cloth but more like an eraser. The other end is a brush. Seems like it will last a long time. I don't use it every day.

Are you suppose to wet the orange part because mines is hard and leave even more smudges with a trail on my screen ?

I have not needed to apply any liquid to mine. Perhaps you have a defective one or your screen has more than just dust on it and you may need to apply some sort of screen cleaner. After that's done then going forward you can use the product as designed.

Does the microfiber side clean laptop screens well by itself or do I need to spray screen cleaning fluid on the screen or microfiber?

It cleans the laptop screen without any cleaning fluid, I highly recommend this!
