This mug is lovely and more delicate than it appears. I saw this in a gift store in Galway for a couple of dollars less but it was worth the extra money to not take chances bringing it home in my luggage and finding it broken upon my return. It was wrapped tightly in bubble wrap and then in a box that was the correct size for the mug, so, even though it was delivered in a brown paper envelope, it arrived at my front door in perfect condition and ready to enjoy a nice cuppa. This would make a nice gift for coffee or tea drinkers, especially with Irish heritage or the love of Irish culture.

Over the years I've purchased at least 6 of these cups. Yes - I've broken a few, but the good part is Amazon has always had them in stock and I can replace it. It's the perfect size (10oz) and feels good in my hand. And I love sentiment especially because I'm Irish.

I purchased this beautiful cup as a Gift and to my surprise it is really well made and the colors of the cup are exceptional.

Holds water

This is as advertised. A beautiful gift especially for someone who is of Irish descent. We already had a pair of these from a school auction years ago but one finally cracked and we wanted to get a matching set. These are identical to what we already owned.

Great to look at, nice hold and lip feel, hot drinks stay hot longer than in bulkier cups.

Beautiful mug. I had bought one like it in Ireland and wanted another. This one was larger and the background darker - instead of white with tan detail it was more grey off-white with beige detaill Still beautiful mug. Very happy.
