You get a good jolt of Eucalyptus with this, which can be beneficial as it can have a strong nasal and sinus clearing effect. That is what you would expect. The first time I used one, I got a bit of surprise by the strength, but it seemed to work quite well. However, I would say that if your nasal passages are inflamed or a bit raw, it might be too strong. So, I would advise being careful and start by trying a brief squirt of the solution. The initial strong reaction does not to moderate as you continue the cleansing procedure.

I just used this for the first time and am extremely pleased with the results. While there was a slight burning sensation, my sinuses are very clear and it is much easier to breath. I was using the regular saline pods, and ordered the eucalyptus accidentally; however, I am very happy I did not return them.

This is good for the navage but like the experience itself you might have to get use to these unlike the regular salt pod these have almost like a menthol flavor maybe burns a little but clears out sinuses with a very fresh feel after.

These pods worked great for me. This is the first time I have used the eucalyptus saltpods as I have used the regular saltpods for several weeks.The eucalyptus was not overwhelming as some have stated in their reviews.I actually enjoyed the tingling and experienced no burning sensation.One of my nasal passages was completely clogged. After using just one of these saltpods, my sinuses opened up in a few seconds. With the regular saltpods, it took 2 or 3 to open my sinuses.I will definitely purchase more of these and will never go back to the regular.

If you haven’t tried the eucalyptus pod yet please put it on your to do list! The first time I used it for me anyway it did sting just a little. After that it did not sting any more. It truly is soothing and feels so good! I will never go back to the regular saline pod. Trust me it’s a must try!
