2.1Gal 8L Top Fill Large Humidifiers for Bedroom Large Room - Cool Mist

I went through three humidifiers on Amazon before this one. All were cheap trash, often with badly translated packaging and instructions. They also all leaked. This is the first one that works absolutely perfectly as intended. The humidity sensor works great, it's quiet, it doesn't leak, it's a top-fill, it gives out a ton of directed vapor at its higher settings for a large room, and even has a night mode to keep it from blinding you at night.

The media could not be loaded. When I ordered this, there was only one review. However, I'm in the market for a humidifier with a large water tank, one that can be easily cleaned and filled with very minimal electronics/digital display. I took a chance and this did not disappoint. Out of the box, the humidifier looks very clean and neat. The remote is nice to control the humidifier. It has a sleep mode so it can be completely dark. There are two ways you can fill the tank - either by the lifting the very top of the humidifier which is not so obvious or intuitive (wish there were two small handles to pull up) or lift the top part of the humidifier which I prefer. It's much easier for large pours. I tried the humidifier and it's excellent and works well. It's very quiet but during the still of the night, you can hear the trickling of the excess water going back down in the tank. The humidistat is located outside of the machine which should be more accurate that those that have the built in ones. I also compared it (55%) to the one that I have in the room (which was 57%) which was on point. It's not a deal breaker for wanting a super quiet humidifier. Compared to some of the other ultrasonic humidifiers, you can also hear the humming of the motor even though they are also quiet. I've attached videos of the initial use and how it sounds when it runs as well. A good buy I'd recommend.10/202/2021-After using this for a whole year, not once did I have to clean the tank which is amazing. I did have to wipe off some form of calcification on top about once a month and that's it. Looks like I'm going to buy another one if it's available.

This humidifier is almost perfect. There are two things that frustrate me. 1) the way the evaporator is placed leaves a little too much room in the chamber for the water that’s being blasted into mist to bubble around a bit too much and make some water droplet sounds when running. It isn’t a dealbreaker for me, but if you’re someone who doesn’t do well with inconsistent sounds while sleeping and you intend to have this in your bedroom while you rest, it may take some getting used to. Also, one cannot dim the LED display. I cover that with a bit of black duct tape folded over so it acts as a flap to cover. Crude but effective.That aside, the controls are easy, the tank is huge and easy to fill, I’ve had no leaks, there are no filters so no filter stink like one gets when it’s time to change one on other humidifiers, it does a great job of adding moisture to our dry Minnesota winter air.

I’ve got the first Lacidoll 8L almost two years ago. It was in function every day with the exception of the time when we were in vacation. Every day and night. I did not took a good care of it ( clean it regularly) and eventually the water pump broke. So here I am, buying the second one. It’s best and easiest to use for a very large room if you want to humidify your environment. Just give some TLC every once in a while.

I produced this in December. It no longer works. It runs but no humidity comes out. And website is not useful. Don't waste your money. Was good the first three months but when I did receive it the uv light didn't work. I should have returned it then.

This does a great job of keeping the humidity up in the winter our forced air apartment, but beware! It sends out a cool mist, not distilled, and the minerals in the water create a fine dust that covers everything in the house! We tried placing an air purifier near the machine, but it didn't seem to help much. We may try distilled water next winter, but that could get expensive!

This humidifier is very effective, quiet, and it has a sleep feature that allows for all of the lights to be turned off at night. It does not require filters, which I find a plus. While you can fill the water reservoir with a picture, I prefer to fill it with the tub faucet, as I clean it each week and only need to fill it once a week, since I only run it at night. The components are easy to clean. I have not had any problems with leaking, as other reviews have mentioned. One caution is that if you choose to remove the top protion without carefully emptying the water in the reservoir, you will drip water on the floor. I usually carry the entire unit into the bathroom and then clean and fill. The unit is very quiet. I sometimes need to check to make sure it is running because I don't hear it. It monitors the percentage of humidity selected and does not overrun. With my previous humidifier, that required a filter, I was waking up each morning with a sore throat. That problem has not happened with this humidifier. I would definitely recommend this product!
