So, I’ve never characterized myself as someone who reads or follow directions. That being said, I found this kit to be a great value for a first-time epoxy resin user. First off, although the A/B epoxy bottles looked small to me, I had more than enough for my project. In hindsight, although I’ll need to purchase more of the epoxy resin, I’ll be able to use the contents of this kit for many, many more projects. Extremely easy to use and easy to understand instruction sheet! I’d recommend this kit to anyone who wants to try epoxy resin. I’ll be using it a lot now that I know how easy it is and how great the results look!

I was worried when I purchased this that the smell would flare my migraines but it really is low odor.I got the kit as an activity to do with my partner and we loved it. It has everything you need to make some cute starter items, though admittedly I did buy another mold kit to make some larger items.

I have been doing 3D printing for a long time and decided I wanted to dip my toes into resin work. Resin can be pretty intimidating between the fumes, the millions of types, and everything else to think about it is pretty easy to just thing it is too difficult for you.This set has everything you need to figure it out, barring some essentials I will mention in a bit. The resin hardens perfectly with minimal bubbles, the color selection is diverse, and the tools are all very useful.There are a few things that you will need to actually use this though, as the fumes are toxic. Get some disposable gloves, a respirator mask, goggles, and some sort of small food scale. The first three here are pretty self explanatory, you don't want this on your skin or eyes and you don't want to breathe it in. The food scale is for measuring the resin and hardener out. It is much easier to measure using a scale than trying to measure using the measuring cups.A few notes: 12g total (6g resin and 6g hardener) filled multiple of the small molds given. You don't need much to practice so don't over mix. Also, this is coating resin, not casting resin. Coating resin is more flexible and doesn't cure in a rigid state. This is fine to practice with, but you will likely want to find some pure casting resin if you want to make something like a coaster or something.Anyway, overall it's a great package, very fun hobby to get into but be sure you are being safe.

So overall a good set for beginners. However a few annoyances, 1) the silicone mat is folded and it's hard to get the creases out so your trays and projects lay flat. 2) the mica is in plastic baggies and most colors seem true (white, iridescent gold, yellows, oranges, blues and purples) the Reds and Greens don't however and no true red or green. 3) The resin/hardener is very thick and not really a crystal clear when hardened. But a ok starter resin choice. I also had hardener left over when done with the epoxy. 4) the beakers are hard to read unless light is hitting it at just the right angle and you cant use anything to cover the lines & numbers so its easier to see. 5) The hard plastic containers don't seem to match amount wise to the beakers (I measured with water and a syringe) so be careful trusting these.I never used the long handled spoons, popsicle sticks, gloves or finger cots yet at least. I do love the little silicone mixing cups though.Update: The company contacted me because of my review and offered a refund for the issues I mentioned, They did also however after giving the refund ask me to alter the review basically buying a better review which I find inappropriate! I did get the refund though so I am upping the stars from 3 to 4.

Worked as expected great kit for a beginner

My kids have seen a lot of videos and wanted to try resin for themselves. I love that this kit is all in one for beginners. It includes a large work mat which was great for not worrying about resin spills. It has everything in it that you need to do projects- all the resin, colors, molds, gloves and mixing containers and supplies. The instructions were clearly written and easy to follow which made this a breeze. (TIP: make sure your 1:1 ratio is exact!) We liked all the little jewelry and tag sized molds so everyone got to make something right away. I also love that a lot of the kit pieces are high quality and reusable for future projects.

I have to be honest here.I intentionally did everything wrong on purpose. Yes the Matt has kinks .. easy fix. 2 towels matt in-between iron problem solved. Does it bubble YEA so what! Again I did everything wrong on purpose.Remenber this is $22.00 I think it's more than worth it.This is NOT brain surgery it's supposed to be fun. Get this kit make mistakes and have fun 😊

This is a great kit for beginners like me who want to test the waters with trying out resin projects. It's nice having some molds to practice different techniques with. Having mica powder is great for learning to swirl the colors together and I've never had a problem with bubbles or cloudiness. Everything has hardened well and releases from the mold easily. I'm super pumped to get more molds and pressed flowers to use with this resin.

Wonderful set. It’s my very first epoxy I ever bought. I was very nervous about it because I have never done anything with epoxy in my life. It’s so easy to work with, easy to clean. Projects I have done turn out great. For price I paid it is more than great.

Good kit for a beginner, the molds are pretty useless, lots of colours but no basic colours which I found odd
