DermacolMake-up Cover #212, Mid-Brown/Pink, For All Skin Types

I've been using this item for many, many years now, and oh boy, it does last for a long time, so my money is worth it. And I don't even use foundation, and this item does it all!

Love this cream. I mix a little with my foundation and smooth over entire face. It evens out my skin tone and easily covers all my dark spots.

Still can’t get the right color! And this items isn’t as creamy as one I had previously purchased from Dermacol website.

I have tried every brand claiming “full coverage” and this is the only foundation that delivers. It blends nicely and allows the individual to apply more or less of the product to control the level of transparency desired. Being able to build the foundation is the problem with the other brands on the market. If the user wants to mask every complexion flaw they can do it and if they wish to see a few freckles they can do that too, with Dermacol.

There has been a lot of hype about this foundation. I am a makeup junkie, normal to slightly dry skin, light warm undertones. It is a very thick full coverage cream foundation that can look unnatural and pasty if too much is applied at once. Out of the tube it may not feel easily spreadable, I find that adding a drop of oil (any facial oil) and mixing it in your palm will make an easier application. It is best to build up coverage gradually rather than trying to achieve full coverage in one shot. I found using a foundation brush worked best. I would recommend using a primer and setting with a finely milled translucent powder. In terms of color, I would recommend that you view as many swatches online as you can. The numbering system is not necessarily indicative of shade gradation from light to dark. Some shades have much more pink undertones than others. This has SPF 30 which I like; some may find that a negative due to photographic flashback. Reasons for giving this 3 stars: (1) not an easy application; (2) can look unnatural; (3) will oxidize somewhat; and (4) availability of other full coverage products with more straightforward color match.

I bought this for my mom and we were excited because we'd heard the good reviews. However, when we received the package, the tube felt warm (like it'd been in a car all day - which may have been the case, but that means this company should invest more into their packaging.) When the tube was opened, a lot of the make-up came out without any pressure. It was a waste. When my mom tried to use it, it provided little to no coverage. I would not recommend this again.

I buy frequently, usually just go for the more expensive as i don’t like the fakes, however I’m glad I got this one. Its not a fake. I was suspect but it’s the real dermacol. I’ve gotten fakes before (the lighter color bottle, strange print etc.) this looks and feels like the real deal. I’ve been wearing dermacol for about 4 years now and it’s the only thing that covers scars, tattoos, makes my pores on my face less noticeable. I mean, it really does it all. Love Dermacol foundation! I’ll be buying again

This make up is okay on coverage, but I don't recommend it for oily skin at all. by mid day you're shining like the morning sun, even if you use a good primer and powder. Not for oily skin at all even though it says it is.
