All and each scale by HBI International is defective. They do NOT have any scales that have no defects and they know it.
Defective: ON-OFF button does not work after few days of scale use. "Warranty" is a lie and a scam: manufacturer, ProScale, ignores all my communications. I tested many of these scales: they all have the same defect. "warranty" does not exist. After my numerous un-replied emails, manufacturer replaced the scale. After one or two months of working, the replacement scale began having the same ON-OFF button problem (ON-OFF button does not work). Manufacturer keeps sending me replacements (I have three replaced scales now, and the original scale). Replacement scales worked for a few weeks, and then ON-OFF button stopped functioning. I will end up with stacks of these "replacement" scales. But this is very bad strategy on part of manufacturer because I cannot use scale for many weeks, while attempting to communicate (via email only, in WRITING so that I have a proof) with manufacturer and while manufacturer does not reply to my emails deliberately, for several weeks.
