Rab Men's Infinity Light Jacket

The infinity light is an excellent uk winter jacket. Fully wind proof and extremely warm. Packs down small too. Ordered large, fit well around shoulders, loose around midsection, not a fitted cut. I’m 44 chest and 32 waist.

Two things I like about the jacket Rab is it comes with a hat to. It’s very warm the thing that I don’t like about the jacket the material is very flimsy. It breaks very easy. This is the first time I purchase a Rab jacket don’t think I will do it again $300 is kind of steep, I should’ve bought a north face

I finally found the perfect jacket, for what o was looking for..warm but not expedition warm, water resistant at least, and not too puffy. This jacket hits very mark and does it perfectly. I wanted a warm jacket for winter walks, but also one that could perform while snowboarding or shoveling in snowy conditions. As you know when shoveling you get hot very quick and end up sweating if you dressed too warm, and then you take off layers and the wind freezes you, yada yada put layers back on. This coat somehow magically keeps you warm when at rest in freezing weather but also is able to regulate your body heat very well when working. While shoveling in snow driven wind I neither felt cold or too hot and sweating, it just seemed to let my body breath and regulate the temperature. It’s also super light weigh so it feels like a invisible barrier around you blocking out the elements. Water resistance was very good, I would say waterproof for most conditions, I was out in the snow for an hour and it just beaded off and was completely dry afterwards. The hood is great for normal conditions, fits over a helmet but looks normal when just wearing it around town. I also wanted a jacket that wasn’t too big so I could wear it more often then just in winter/inclement conditions. The infinity light is a perfect fit and looks like a winter jacket, but not too big, and not super “micro light” fitted. It’s also considerably warmer without the added puffiness that a lot of down jackets have, so it’s more wearable in normal conditions. I’ve tried literally all the RAB jackets, and all were really nice in there own rights, some too warm for what I needed, some too lite, but the infinity lite was just perfect for what I needed. I might have or buy another just to have a backup because I think this will be the last winter coat I’ll ever need. Great job RAB! BTW, all the coats from RAB were great just performed beyond what I needed.

Use it for fishing in a kayak in temps from 32-60 degrees. It is very warm even when windy. Can get a bit to warm when 60 degrees and sunny. 6’1” 185 lbs 36 inch waist….x-large fits perfectly.
