Two Cedar Wood Soap Saver Dishes

The pics show that there is open lines to allow water to run through and when it came it doesn't look anything like the picture .. it's literally a block of wood with some very thin groves runing through it.... When the soap is wet is slides right off cause there is nowhere for the water to go.

This product was well priced and real cedar. The problem was that it needs a second set of slit cuts on the bottom that intersect with the top slits in order to allow it to drain well. I had to throw it away because it collected too much soap residue. There are better products.

Very nice quality cedar soap dishes. I am happy with this product. Customer service was excellent. They can come in different shades, so if it's important for it to be a darker cedar color like in the picture next to their product description, you may want to contact them ahead of time. It feels good to buy a product made in the USA.

It stinks, literally, like a chemical. The craftsmanship is awful the 'cuts' where the soap sits are not straight, the spacing not consistent.I left them outside for several weeks hoping that the sun would remove the smell, no luck.

I received soap holders, they work great but look like pine? No cedar aroma but smells nice anyway.

The slits in this piece are very thin and clog with soap scum so they do not drain well for me.

The pictures on the Amazon site made these appear to have cross-hatching on the bottom surface, as well. However, they do not. Additionally, the woodwork was rough, and needed more sanding down.
