Californication: Season 7

A twisted view in the life of a talented writer.
Tom Kapinos did a great job of ending the series...Becca getting married in NYC and Levon was a surprise, to say the least, turned out to be very entertaining.... and last but not least, Hank reading Karen the letter on the plane and then sitting next to her and they were kissing....Great and gentle way to give us all closure...David Duchovny gave us all great performances thoughout the series and our emotions were all over the spectrum from loving him and wanting to spank him for being a "bad boy." He remained innocent to us and more of a victim to a "good guy" making wrong situations into making them right and it always seemed to bite him is the ass.Loved the series and I was always pleasantly surprised by all of the actresses and their antics...and the rest of the cast was always great and supportive of Hank by loving him to a fault.

I can't wait to see him what happened in the last season on californication!
I got the DVD with the 7th season of Californication and I watched 3 episodes and it looks exactly like it looked on Netflix where I saw the other 6 seasons. I love the show SO MUCH! So I am very happy with my purchase and I'm so glad I get to see the last season of Californiacation which my husband and I just love and it makes us laugh a lot! Thx!

Just watch it.
Amazing ending to an awesome series. This season was hilarious, but (like some other pieces of the series), it was a bit rushed. You could kind of tell in the last couple of episodes where they were rushing to build to a grand ending, and that made it feel a bit forced rather than gradual (like the previous season with Atticus Fetch). But the end of the last episode where everything ties together was incredible. I don't want to give it away, but just trust me-- watch it.

A fitting, fond farewell for Hank Moody
The final season of "Californication" managed to recapture the heart and soul of what made Hank Moody and his tale so much fun to watch over the years (beyond the gratuitous nudity ;-) ). After an utterly bland and directionless sixth season, where he toured with the completely uninteresting, washed-up rock star, Atticus Fetch, Hank returned home to continue his quixotic quest to win the heart of his true love, Karen, and also get his life together. It would not be a Hank Moody story if there weren't several Hank-induced obstacles. Among them include finding out about an unknown son, whom he fathered before he met Karen (and he looks like Jonah Hill); a reputation that leaves him with the only employment opportunity being a writer on tv show that is clearly going to be short-lived; and an increasingly estranged relationship with his daughter, Becca. This final season is enjoyable because you still understand why Hank pines for Karen so much (and why she can't 'quit' him); which is helped through a series of flashback scenes that show the two of them during the seemingly (but not exactly) happier early days, along with a still happily married Charlie Runkle and Marcy. Seeing how Charlie and Marcy deal with finally be remarried is also entertaining. I think Evan Handler has been vastly under-appreciated in his role as Charlie Runkle. Evan has had to tap into a bit of fearlessness in order to play such flawed, and embarrassing, character, while still making you root for him. Funny, and moving, guest spots by Michael Imperioli, Heather Graham and Mary Lynn Rajskub also add to a fond farewell to Hank Moody. It allows one to look back with good memories over the show's run.

Moody to the end!
Season 7 finishes my collection of the series and what a series it was! Duchovny was meant to play Hank Moody and the rest of the cast was brilliant. I would've liked to have seen the show end a little differently, but hey, it's Hank Moody! Makes me happy to know I can watch Californication, from start to finish, when ever I want.

Hank's back at it.
BIg fan of this series, always fast moving and new. Excellent writers and cast. Heather Graham is a real plus addition to this series as well as Levon,, Hanks long lost son. You won't be disappointed by any episode in this series. Just can't believe that there could actually be people who live their lives in this manner, but its more than entertaining.Enjoy it!

Devious Fun!
Never really paid attention to the series until I got bored one day and saw that it was available on Prime. Have always heard of good things about it. After seeing E1 of S7 I sat through the whole Season in less than 2 days. I am now going to start from S1E1 to catch up on what I missed. Fun!
