I might have gotten too big for my britches thinking I could easily put together any 1000 pc puzzle within a couple of days with no problem. This Lego puzzle definitely put me in my place haha. It took me about a week working on it a couple hours a day. It is a very high quality puzzle, no trick pieces and they fit together nicely so you’ll know when you attach the pieces together correctly. Worth every penny of the price. Despite it being kinda hard and sometimes frustrating, it was still fun and I felt challenged and satisfied once completed. I do puzzles constantly and couldn’t even count how many I’ve done since Covid began, but this puzzle was my favorite overall. The included picture insert is helpful and necessary. The size of the insert is perfect with only 1 fold in the middle that doesn’t distort the picture at all. I have ADHD so I actually kept it folded in half when using it to limit the distractions.Assembly tips…1) Once you assemble the easier Lego faces with glasses and obvious distinct characteristics and you’re left with very similar looking faces, use a similar strategy as you would with a word search puzzle. Pick 1 piece with an identifying feature, a beard or lipstick etc, and go row by row on the picture insert until you find where the piece goes. I used a tiny frog figurine as a marker to not lose my place if I got distracted when I found the placement for a piece I remember seeing before.2) Have a sorting strategy from the beginning, grouping similar pieces separately, eyes with lashes pieces with teeth or smiles, beards etc. But most importantly, separately group left sides of faces from right sides, and bottom of faces from tops, it will help tremendously at the halfway point when the remaining pieces all look the same.3) Line up the grouped pieces in rows with the Lego faces vertical (eyes, eyebrows will be the top of the piece and mouths, beards and teeth will be the bottom) 95% of the pieces are easy to identify which direction is up.

Challenging and fun
This was a fun, challenging puzzle! Good for rainy days. Difficulty level is pretty high. The pieces/quality was really good. Sturdy. The picture quality, colors, and details, were also nice. After I finished it I sent it to my dad so he could do the puzzle too! Make sure you have good lighting and your glasses (if you wear them)!

Challenging and Fun
This puzzle was a fun build. It was a challenging puzzle, but not so challenging that one would want to give up on it. I am not one of those “start with the edge pieces” type of puzzle builders. I prefer to build puzzles organically from various points of interest. For this puzzle, I started with all the faces with glasses, and all the faces with beards. Then I arranged them according to picture on the box and then proceeded to fill in the gaps and edges. I completed it over the course of five days as opposed to a day or two like some less challenging puzzles I’ve built. Unfortunately, it only had 999 pieces. There was 1 piece missing when it was all said and done. Who’s to say if the puzzle came that way, or the piece got up and walked away somehow. It’s certainly nowhere to be found. Despite the twinge of disappointment with the missing piece, I really enjoyed building this puzzle. If it wasn’t for the missing piece, I would give it 5 Stars.

This will keep your kids busy on a rainy afternoon. It will be a challenge for them, for sure. But it is pretty cool.I think they'll like it. It's mini figure heads.
