Earthy Good DIY Lip Balm Making Kit

Great diy lip balm kit. This was my first time making lipbalm and it was so easy to make! The quality is excellent my lips felt so soft. I think I found myself a new hobby!

This is a great kit! I bought it as a gift for my niece. The scents are wonderful and the instructions are simple enough for a ten year old to achieve good results with little supervision. So far she has made three tubes. She only had a little trouble filling the first tube by herself, but had no problem with subsequent tubes. The scents are really so nice and she enjoyed making her own recipes.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinions.The Earthy Good DIY lip balm making kit arrived as promised and the eco friendly neat packaging. It contains 8 empty tubes for the lip balm, 8 caps, lip balm base (which according to the brand it contains Shea Butter, Kokum Butter, Cocoa Butter, Hemp Butter, Vitamin E, Grapefruit seed extract.), plastic measuring cup. 1 of each - Peppermint/Vanilla, Lemongrass/lime and Bergamont/Geranium essential oils. Very easy to follow instructions with 4 easy steps. 1. Dig out 1/4 of the base and place into the measuring cup. 2. Microwave for 30 seconds ( I ended up microwaving for 1 minute in order for the base to melt completely). 3. Add 15-30 drops of chosen essential oil blend.4. Pour into 2 empty lip balm applicators. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes uncapped and then allow at least 2 hours to dry or for best results overnight.My 9y.o. and I thought it was very easy and follow the instructions. The next morning we tried the lip balm on. I have to say that applying the lip balm was very pleasing to the lips. My lips felt moistened and very soft. I was very pleased with the result.The only problem we had with 1 of 2 containers, it was broken. SO basically when you twist the bottom of the container for the lip balm to show up, the bottom base will twist backwards. Therefore no lip balm is coming out of that broken container. We have not used the remaining 6 containers. I suggest to check them all upon arrival.It is a good kit overall. My only wish if the kit would come with some stickers (like To: and From: or Made by: and so on) The plain clear plastic container was not too appealing to the eye. Plus my daughter thought to give the lip balms to her friends as gifts and really wished for the stickers.

I am addicted to lip balm. I keep one in my coat pocket and 2 in my purse at ALL times. I've tried many brands and can honestly say Earthy Good DIY Lip Balm Making Kit makes quality lip balm that quenches dry lips and smells amazing! My favorite so far has been the Lemongrass/Lime scented lip balm. My lips are velvety smooth and feel so much better. I can actually wear lipstick without getting that dry cracked lip look a few hours after application.If you do not have a microwave, (we don't) you can still make your own DIY Lip Balm. For step 2, instead of microwaving for 30 seconds, put in a small saucepan on the stove with medium heat and stir constantly until it melts. Do not walk away and leave unattended. It works just as good and only takes 10 minutes to prep this way. Very disappointed. The contents were thrown inside the box, not secured at all. The fragrances were not secured and the liquids leaked out of the bottles. I would not recommend this product.

We tried t2 kits. This one and one that used cocoa butter. Both had their plusses. This one makes a softer lip balm, but this can be solved by using more wax. We got 6 tu es and have enough to make one more batch of 3. We found their recipe made enough for 3 tubes, and they supply you with more than enough to do at least the 6 tubes. We love that we got 3 flavored oils (out other only came with peppermint) and they supplied enough tjat we were able to use these oils in our other batch. Over all I think we like the shea butter feel of this kit vs the cocoa butter one.

This is hands down one of my favorite natural products. In a commercial world packed with chemicals and artificial dyes, it's nice to step back and consider what we're putting into/onto our bodies. The Earthy Good lip balm kit is a total game-changer because I can finally see what's going into the products I'm using, and it's really fun to make! The directions are easy to follow and for the price, it actually makes a lot of high-quality lip balm! Definitely buying this again and I recommend it to everyone.Thanks!

Bought a kit for 6. Directions were wrong. (examples - "Cut the shea butter into fourths. Put 1/3 into the beaker."; 30 pellets of bees' wax insufficent for a batch of 2 tubes of solid lip balm.) Missing ingredients - there were only about 60 pellets, when double that is required for 6 tubes. Lemongrass essential oil arrived leaking; stunk up the house. This was a fail, which is very sad because DD was so excited to make these.IF you take a chance on this, keep in mind that although product does not specify, this must be SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT. We are glad we insisted on this - DD might have had quite a problem with the essential oils!

I love the product inside and the fact it is so natural. I am excited to find out how well it works out. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is the picture shown is cute and giftable...the box I got was just plain brown cardboard with a white sticker which is fine just not as pretty to give as a gift like mine is intended.

This is one of the neatest kits that I've ever seen! I love that it's made in Canada, that the ingredients are natural and of high quality. I also love the packaging and the overall look of the kit. My daughter had a ball making her lip balms. This would be a perfect gift to give-something unique, fun and INTERESTING!

Great product! Nice and simple packaging. Instructions are easy to follow to make the lip balms. The lip balm feels great on my lips and love that it’s all natural ingredients. Definitely my go to lip balm from now on.

I bought this as a gift for my niece. It looks like it's a good product. I liked that it had more natural ingredients.
