Great pants!!!
I don't understand all the neg reviews. I have two pairs of these which I alternate wearing five days a week for 10 plus hours. No issues with the zipper. They did eventually begin to tear at the inseam. AFTER 9 MONTHS of 30 plus hours of wear per week!!! I find this acceptable wear. Great pants. Get the job done, and are very comfortable.

The houndstooth pattern is very small
I bought these to go with a large houndstooth print shirt and was disappointed at how tiny the pattern is. But its definitely dickies quality and theyre comfortable considering that theyre just a wee bit tight at the waist. The fabric is fairly soft to the touch.

the zipper is useless
I have two pairs of these pants. I wasn't expecting much fashion wise, just something sort of anonymous and utilitarian. These pants deliver on that front - baggy but not too baggy, functional, not ugly. The fabric seems a little better quality than most chef pants, with a softer seeming fabric that has a good intermediate weight. Pockets are fine. I like the design - drawstring (which I prefer for comfort) and zipper fly (which I just prefer). But it's this fly that is the downfall of these pants. It's utter junk. I just want a solid, comfortable pant that works. I don't want to walk home from work with duct tape holding my fly shut. I don't profess to know exactly how the garment trade works, but I imagine it's ruthlessly competitive, and you have to undersell the competition and therefore every penny counts. So you are forced to make an order for half a million crap zippers at 10 for a penny. I say, buy the next one that's 2 for a penny instead because this one is an insult to the very idea of a zipper. Put it this way, I would pay ten dollars more for the exact same pants that had a reliable and sturdy zipper.

Too Wide at the bottom
The length is way too long and wayyyyyyyyyy too WIDE you can fit 3 additional ankels in the bottom of the pants

Saw at least 3 chefs with these on backwards.
You’re average kitchen houndstooth.Something comforting about them.

Great fit and feel
I’ve graduated to loose pants. Need them for comfort at work and play. These pants need to be cuffed. Dickies sells the cuffed version.
