Goes on like cream should
The cream is a thick and sheer product that goes on like cream should. Face is more glowing and my crows feet less visible.

Definitely not the gentle cream I was expecting
I had a feeling this cream wasn't going to work for me when I put some on and twenty minutes later my husband stared at me for a minute then asked that evergreen question, "Does your face hurt?" Why yes, it does. And I'm not sure why. Bakuchiol is supposed to be a gentle, organic retinol surrogate (and I don't really have any noticeable negative reaction to retinol), so I wasn't expecting to feel anything but softness with this cream. I checked the ingredients before applying it and checked the NIH site for ingredients that might be harmful and was reassured, so I opened up the white glass jar and scooped some out.The cream is kind of thin and not creamy as much as slick (I am guessing this is the dimethicone)-- that's fine because a lot of night creams are going that direction these days. Just be aware of that consistency. It is awfully scent-heavy for a face cream, although it smells wonderful. I think it might be lavender? The fragrance worried me, though, because it is just listed as "fragrance" on the list of ingredients and there's a pretty large scope of ingredients under that umbrella. Anyhow, I suspect the fragrance is where the problem is for me, because I put this on my face and immediately felt a tingle. Not unexpected for a product like this, but given the reputation of Bakichiol (and the presence of Argan oil and aloe), I was not expecting anything more than a tingle. But tingle quickly turned into a wide-spread burning. A few minutes later, my husband asked if my face hurt. I looked in the mirror and I looked like I had a sunburn. I sucked it up and went to bed and most of the redness was gone by morning. The second time I tried the cream, I had the same burning sensation and redness and this time noticed that my skin actually felt drier when I woke up than before. Finally, I tried it one last time today (I am a glutton for punishment) during the day so I could monitor my reaction, and I actually had to wash it off after a couple of hours. If the ingredients in this cream are what they claim to be, there is no reason for me to have had a reaction like this. I am trusting the company, however, and think that the heavy fragrance is the culprit. I am glad the product is inexpensive and I didn't invest money or my skin's health to it. After three tries and the same painful and unwanted results, I have to say I don't recommend this product, as much as I wanted to love it. Everyone's skin is different, so YMMV, as always.

Great Price on an Alternative Retinol Cream
First, the price of the Delfanti Milano BAKUCHIOL Night Cream is excellent. It is a quality cream for a price of under $12...can't beat that! The scent is lovely...almost like a light rose. It fades quickly and absorbs fast. I did find that my skin reddened quite a bit after I first applied the night cream. I didn't feel much discomfort though and wore it to bed. By morning, the redness was completely gone and my skin was hydrated and looked fresh. I was very pleased with it. I now alternate this cream with another so I don't have a reaction to it.

A Creamy Drink For Your Skin
My face loves this night cream, even in the daytime. This is a somewhat thin white cream that glides across the face. It doesn't absorb right away but will after a few seconds. Just keep slathering it across the face and let your skin sip this stuff in. It won't take long. Can't say that the scent is all that thrilling, though not bad either. At least it's mild and does not linger. I can deal with that.Once applied, it immediately feels very refreshing. There was no greasiness or oiliness to contend with after about five minutes. Give it time to sink in. It made my skin feel very soft and smooth, even creamy without any residue. Really well worth the extra few moments of waiting time to let this cream sink in.Personally, I love this facial cream and so does my skin. Especially nice that it comes in at a fair price.

Nice stuff!
I use both this and the day cream and I don't find any difference between the two to be honest, though it's possible this is a big heavier, though they are both really lightweight. This cream does have a strong fragrance, I think it smells really nice and has a floral scent to it, but if you are sensitive to fragrance you will want to pass on this. It was easy to apply and adsorbed well into my skin. It is lightweight but still does a good job at getting rid of dryness. Nice product!
