Because of the low price I wasn’t expecting too much. But they were exactly what I had hoped for. I tried a number of these devices since my old ones broke, but none ware satisfactory because the resistance was non-linear. That is, they were weak at the beginning of the stroke, with the resistance increasing until they were impossible at the end of the stroke. These are consistent throughout.

I have never had one of these before so I don't know how much resistance should be felt, but I can feel the strain on my tiny wrist and finger muscles. I have noticed a difference since using these when I play tennis and do yoga. I used to need more breaks in between yoga poses and after so many minutes of tennis, but I really do think that I have felt stronger since using the hand grips. I just use them when I watch tv or read something mindlessly. That way I feel like I am "working out" when I am doing lazy activities.

NOT recommended if you plan to really use them.
