Eleplace 12.5-Inch Privacy Screen for Widescreen Laptop / Computer Monitor

For being under $20, you can't go wrong with this screen. Does it completely black out your screen when looking from your immediate sides? Not entirely. I purchased this as I fly frequently and was tired of people looking over at what I was doing (emails and PowerPoint seem to excite people for some reason). I've only had the screen for a few weeks now but it does the job well enough. I have had some issues sliding the screen in and out using the adhesive tabs included (you get two sets of each). I haven't tried the semi-permanent tabs so can't comment on how well they stick. Could just be that it takes time for the tabs to loosen up since it's a little tough to get the screen to slide through. There are no issues using the touchscreen whatsoever (fits perfectly on a ThinkPad Yoga 12). The option to have either a matte or a glossy finish is a plus too if you're in direct sunlight.

I do recommend this, you can't see in from the side, which is great for airplanes, etc. It's a little on the dark side but I truly think that is just from me not being used to having this on my screen. Please note someone right behind you will still be able to see your screen. That holds true for all the different ones we use at work by different manufacturers.The company also sends a lot of 'stickies" and such to hold up your screen, which was appreciated on my end as I may end up taking it off and on.

...unless seller actually includes everything. Screen came in and was awesome (did exactly as described). But it was missing the tabs, installation instructions, and screen cleaning cloth. I could only mount it permanently instead of the option with tabs where I could remove it as needed.

Almost pointless but does make it a little harder for someone sitting at a far sided angle to see your screen. Mostly just makes my screen look darker to me.

This works quite well. I am often in meetings and don't need a person seated close to me watching what I am reading or typing. I haven't tried this in flight yet. But I am sure it's excellent for working on documents or emails when you have no idea who is seated next to/across from/ or diagonally behind you. Company and/or personal privacy is key these days.

This a is a great privacy screen for the price! It does not black out entirely, but it does give you privacy from the person sitting next to you. It does not work as well when you are in a darker room, like in a meeting room with the projector on or on a flight at night, light still comes through -- But this is kind of expected.

Easy to install, fits perfectly. The viewing angle is a bit wider than I would prefer, but otherwise a great product.

Accomplishes the goal. Directions aren't as simple as I'd like but that's pretty much everything these days. This privacy screen works well.
