Where manufactured? Won't buy from China.

They are made in Ukraine is my understanding, family owned. They have very nice 'weight' to them. Not thin or cheap, and not too heavy. I love mine. I'm very happy with them and would buy then again. They are really great in the kitchen for when I'm cooking. Both my husband and I really like them and feel they were a perfect choice.

Are the holes big enough for course salt?
