Good for teaching children about how hydraulic systems work
I bought this to use as part of a lesson in Technology and Design, my granddaughter assembled it as per the instructions. Building it helped her to understand about “force”.She used food dye in three of the syringes leaving the forth one with clear fluid in it. This helped her to understand which lever moved which part of the grab. She found the instructions quite easy to follow, the only down side was that the tubing kept popping off one of the syringes causing the model to have to be taken apart again but eventually resolved the problem by using slightly less water in the syringe. Good product.

Great toy. I was very pleased with this kit. My son spent hours playing with this set once assembled.

A Fine Introduction to Engineering
A good display of hydraulics in action. The syringes will lose their ability to hold the vacuum over time with excessive use, and it can be difficult to bleed the air out which means the arms don’t function as well as they could but as an introductory model I can’t fault it. Food colouring for each function recommended. Well made and fair value for money. A happy son.

Very good
Excellent item, challenges the brain to build and then it’s a toy.

Grandson enjoyed making it
I bought this for my Grandson on his 8th Birthday last week. He has just made it up and we had a few pictures sent while assembling. He did most of it himself but had a little help from dad on a few bits. We were informed that he enjoyed making it so that's a win from me. It's difficult when Birthdays come along and to choose what to buy. I usually do alright with Amazon.

Great fun making water with my son
Very good for making unfortunately the tubes pop off sometimes and water leaks out and need to take apart slightly to fill water back up but once back on it works well.
