Great lights! Had the 6.5 ft ones for Christmas but they was the older generation and I loved them and I can say these are just as good if not better! Way brighter and just as colorful! Do wish the adhesive was a lot better but it is better than the ones I had before these both by the same brand. Will be buying a couple more sets soon!

I really like Geeni products. The lights are easy to set up and so easy to change colors and brightness to get just the right look. Their app makes it so easy to setup a schedule too. Ive had some that were very confusing. And they work great with Alexa.My only dislike is that if the power goes out they come on automatically when power comes on and the color goes back to the default one, and has to be reset. But they do not lose your preset schedule and don't have to be reprogrammed into app like some. But just looking at the app you can see whats on or not which I find helpful.

Love the product, but maybe I got a defective strip. Part of my strip does not light up. I have the Geeni light bulbs and wanted to add a strip to my TV panel and unfortunately half of them do not light up. I would like a replacement if possible at no cost. Please see images. Other than that the other half works great.

EDIT: Since writing the review I've had enough of a 'nothing' response from the seller and from Geeni that I've dropped these lights down to 1 Star. Customer service is so poor as to be useless - I sent photos and a description of my issue but only received 3 emails from them in 2 months, each one asking the same questions (what's the problem, have you tried the app?) without any offer to fix/replace or make things right. Even when I sent a final email saying I'll buy from a different brand in future, the reply that came in 3 weeks later was "Ok. We will close the ticket now and mark it as resolved. Thank you for being a loyal customer".Original Review:I bought these lights to replace some LED fish tank lights but the description is actually misleading so I wasn't able to use them for that. I *did* try them as under-cupboard lighting instead but even that was pretty disappointing with only moderate stickiness after peeling off the backing. While the setup & connection to the app and smart devices was easy, the lights themselves are pretty disappointing.For a start they're not very bright, especially once they're set to a colour. For some reason, white is only available if you're using the Geeni app - neither my Google nor Alexa devices will change the lights to white, despite telling me "Ok, setting lights to white". When using the app itself there's a whole section of colours near the top that just don't change at all. When you select the 'white' on the app, it's not even true white and has a coloured hue to it. I suppose that's to be expected with inexpensive LEDs, but it's still disappointing.As mentioned, I originally bought these to light a fishtank, so one of the selling points for me was in the product description that says "Weatherproof and waterproof". However, the instruction book (yes, I read it!) specifically says that they're barely even splashproof, so I haven't been able to use them how I wanted. I'm guessing when it says "weatherproof" it means the lights can withstand a gentle breeze as long as they're secured and not exposed to the aforementioned weather. Either way, I feel this was misleading and I wouldn't have bought them had I known.The final straw that broke the camel's back here was that I bought the 5 meter (16.4ft) length. However, some 2 meters (about 6 ft) of these didn't work out of the box (see pics). Despite most of my other Geeni bulbs & plugs working pretty well over the years, these LED strip lights are a fail for me.

One of the best home upgrades I own. Easy plug in and set up. Works great and right away at every move. Colors and themes are fun.

These are great smart lightstrips. One of my favorite added bonuses is that although they're not compatible with Apple's Homekit (almost no smart home stuff is), you can add a Siri shortcut easily so you can use Siri on your phone to turn on and off these lightstrips. Geeni customer service took unbelievable care of me when I had an issue with another product (thanks Lisa Marie), so I'd highly recommend buying Geeni products.

Very fragile flex PCB. It tore during installation, had to fix it to get the whole strip working. The app is very limited. No chases, just basic color mixing.Blue LEDs died very quickly. This is a terrible product.

No alumbra nada a comparación de una tp link, no se dejen deslumbrar por el precio, eso y nada es lo mismo. Mañana mismo la regreso y el pegamento ni se diga, se cae a cada rato
