Saw a program using this spice on TV for Turkish eggs. Delicious! Slight heat but loads of flavor. Sprinkle it in melted butter (real butter) and drizzle over poached eggs. Oh my God fabulous.

Was introduced to Urfa pepper at a restaurant and purchased this during the meal. It's exactly what we wanted. Good quantity for the money and nice smoky only-slightly-spicy flavor.

This is my first time trying it just by itself from a spoon. After at least a 1/2 Tbsp in my mouth, it starts w a bit of a moist chewiness. Then the heat. But not more that regular Tabasco heat. It's like eating raisins w hot sauce almost, and kinda tastes meaty. Really good aftertaste that stays around for 20 min at least. This will be great on chicken and pork smoked on the grill for a few hours! So glad I bought this. This will be great in mexican meals too as well as a topping on pasta. I'll definitely be buying this regularly!
