I was expecting it to come in a box, it came in a plastic bag. The spoons look darling from the picture(s), but they are cheaply made...! Oh well...

Very pretty demitasse spoons, great for stirring coffee or for those small containers of sugar, cocoa, or cinnamon. I serve a lot of appetizers and these also work perfectly for jam pots, olive tapenade, and hummus, I will probably buy another set.

These cute, pastel-handled spoons are perfect for espresso/cappuccino, jams, honey, and bowls of small candies. I used mine during the holiday season not only for coffee but also for cheese boards where I placed fig jam, lavender honey, and pistachios. They also worked well for a small bowl of capers on a platter of smoked salmon.The metal portion is stainless steel, and while they do flex a bit if you apply a lot of pressure, none of mine bent in use, probably because they weren't asked to do heavy lifting or scooping. The pastel handles, in four different colors, are plastic and, so far, durable.Until I received these, I used plain stainless espresso spoons for all the above situations, and while plain is best for many situations, I like the splash of color these provide.
