OK, on the one hand, the Conveen has very good leg straps, and decent capacity for short term schedules, but there are serious flaws.1. Dump valve sucks. Reasons it sucks; If you cross your legs, it is quite easy to trip the valve while horizontal, since the valve pulls downward, and voila! You have urine leaking everywhere. Not a pleasant experience, especially if you have nice furniture. I've dealt with 7 spills related to this issue.The valve also, when standing, has a tendency to get trapped when the bag is full, making it difficult to open the valve.You must hold the dump nozzle while emptying the bag, otherwise, it will pull in and dump the stream straight into your shoe/sock/ankle. This is an unpleasantly frustrating problem. Also, the plastic flanges alongside the dump tube split easily, doing the same thing. Few things more frustrating than sitting in a movie and feeling your sock and shoe becoming saturated, along with the accompanying odor.If the bag is seriously full, the dump valve blasts out like a fire hose, often missing the target bowl, making you quite P.O.'d.The valve also can slide down the tube, and can be frustrating to reposition, since there are two narrow slots that the plastic flanges slide into, enhancing the chance they'll tear more quickly.2. The thermo welds inside the bag pop free if the bag gets full. So then you get a saggy bag, which exacerbates getting to the dump valve.3. The holes for the strap buttons tear easily. I've had less problems since shifting to wearing it at the ankle, but this is a poor bag for thigh positioning. It might be OK in an elastic sleeve, but for strap wear, avoid.Today, 8/23/18, my urologist's nurse noted that I was the 5th patient this very day that reported major problems with these bags. They are getting to their wit's end with them.
