Original Album Classics Slipcase

this is a great collection of John's early LPs, but it did leave out a couple of the early ones such as "Who's garden was this" and "Poems prayer and promises" but to get "5" DVDs in one collection that's well worth the money every John Denver fan would find this as a good treat to add their collection. I'm glad I bought it.

Great collection of hard to find early solo work.

Fantastic set of John Denver music...great package of music in an attractive pack...really enjoying it and bringing back memories.

I guess I'll give my age away when I say I have ALL of JD's albums - and then all cassettes - and still collecting CD's. Some of his CD's are not in print, and if you can find them, they are very expensive. So this classic compilation is nice for the Aerie album and Rhymes and Reasons. Absolutely recommended for any fan.

Great deal to get those long lost albums from a truly super artist gone too soon!!!!!!! These songs-some I knew about on good old vinyl-and some that are new to me-rekindled my love for this wonderful singer/songwriter/actor/humanitarian taken from us all too soon. I was not disappointed!!!!!!!

I already had 4 of the albums. But the price was perfect, to get Aerie alone would have been worth it!

John Denver, the folk sounds of my older sister which, now that I"m older, I seem to like too. And these are just as I remember them and they let me remember those younger days better too. The only improvement in product (which isn't the seller's responsibility but the mpf company) is that I wish the outer packaging was the harder cardboard than the flimsy one the newer 5 cd collections have. Lyric wise, knowing so much more about life than I did back then, I wonder about what the subject matter was about.

Rhymes & Reasons (1969) を１stとすると、1,5,6,7,8 枚目のアルバムを集めています。４枚目である彼のキャリア上ベストの『詩と祈りと誓い』は入っていないということです。このオリジナルアルバムシリーズの編集の不可解さです。どうせなら１～５枚目と６～１０枚目に分けて出せばファンも納得すると思います。個々のアルバム自体は問題ありませんが、そういった編集の不可解さでマイナスかな。なお、１枚目と５枚目の最後の２曲はボーナス・トラックです。５枚の中では "Rocky Mountain High" と "Back Home Again" がお気に入りで、彼のキャリア上、セールス的にも最高のアルバムでしょう。この２枚だけでも買う価値があると思います。

Excellent collection
