Real vanilla smell... so good...
Yes, to me, this literally smells like vanilla. I even smelled the bottle of vanilla in my cupboard and compared the two - the actual vanilla has more alcohol smell, but otherwise they smell pretty similar. My only complaint is that it's not a lingering scent on my skin. I wish it had more staying power. This might not be what you're looking for if you want a vanilla-type perfume. But if you are like me, and love to smell like a straight up sweet baked good, wafting scents like cocoa, sugar, cinnamon, peppermint or vanilla, and have a hard time finding those scents that aren't "perfumized" then I totally recommend this stuff.

Super Yum!!
OooommmmmggggggI’m new to essential oils and I find most of them smell terrible lol so I wanted a vanilla but young living or whatever it’s called was sold out. It was also expensive so I figured I’d get this one off Amazon to see if I even like it.AND YES I DO!!!!! It smells like fresh baked Christmas sugar cookies and a binge cookie session in my near future. It smells like heaven delivering puppies and cuddles and love on a unicorn.I’m telling you. Buy it. If you don’t like it you can return it. But if you want the scent of a vanilla candle instead of those fungus natural garbage oil smells (sorry if that’s rude, but seriously I have some from another brand that are just terrible lol) then this is the way to go.Too bad I can’t add this to coffee. Can we?

Smells heavenly! A must for those who can’t do artificial fragrance
This vanilla scent is heavenly! From somebody who has never been able to wear perfume, used plug-ins, or air fresheners because they were too strong and bothered my sinuses- this is such a wonderful product! It smells like vanilla baking extract. Keep in mind vanilla prices are on the rise, even the baking extracts are expensive so this is going to run you more than your basic peppermint or orange. It’s just a pure sweet vanilla and my favorite way to use it is to mix with lime and my house smells like Keylime. Vanilla is a darker oil compared to some of the other essential oils, don’t be alarmed that is normal. I can’t say enough about this product and how I’m able to add 1 to 3 drops or increase the intensity of the vanilla in my home. My aunt thought I was baking something when she was visiting . I prefer to do just enough sent that when you’re in my main living room you’ll get a hint of smell but it’s not in your face overpowering . It’s extremely hard to control artificial scents and vanilla candles , to be able to make the softest vanilla smell or a strong as I want is priceless! You can mix this with orange, peppermint, just about anything to have a really beautiful scent. Nothing fake or artificial about this pure vanilla smell. My third Edens garden oil purchase in the last month, I am very pleased.

Heavenly
This is an awesome vanilla, very potent. Not sure about the bad reviews that said it smells like martini's and did not last more than a 1/2 an hour. I put 1 drop on my hands and the smell is still there the next day after a shower. This is an absolute as stated by Edens Garden, so that may be where the alcohol smell is coming from. I can tell there was alcohol involved but is not overpowering and dissipates as soon as it is diffused or put on skin. Seems like a great price too for what your getting. I even bought a bunch of other oils from this company after trying this one.

The best I’ve found
I used to put vanilla scent on my pulse points. The scent helped me relax more, not get as stressed, and feel joy and comfort whenever I smelled it. Then, I discovered that it contained phthalates and therefore might be contributing to my daily headaches. After stopping its use, the headaches became less frequent, but I missed what the scent did for me. Thus began a search for an essential oil that smelled as good (or better). I finally found it. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful this oil is. It’s everything I’d hoped for. And my husband likes that I smell like cookies again.

You need to understand that pure Vanilla is thick
The most common complaint I see in these reviews is that the vanilla oil is too thick or too dark. I want you to think back to when you had to put a drop of vanilla extract in something for baking. Remember how thin that was? That's because alcohol had to be added to it to ferment it. When you're getting an essential oil, you're getting it without that additive that thins it out. It's okay for it to be thick! Just hold it over your diffuser for about ten seconds, and the drops will fall and sink to the bottom before dissolving into the water mixture. This stuff is amazing, I got it for my mom, and her room smells like a cup of chamomile vanilla tea right now. I'm really glad I went with this brand.

Great for Anxiety and relaxation!
If you have anxiety this works like a charm! I never knew that they had vanilla essential oil. Did my research on it and was blown away by all the good it does for you. I LOVE the smell of vanilla so this is by far my favorite! As soon as I put it in my diffuser my whole body just gets relaxed (mind, body and soul) I feel great! And it works like a tranquilizer lol I am always ready to K.O whenever I put it on. But I get a sound sleep!! Love it and would recommend this smell to anyone and everyone! The only downfall is that your paying 14 bucks for a tiny amount. But I would still buy again haha.

Bottle size very small
It smells and looks like vanilla extract which is nice but I don’t really like that the oil is brown instead of clear. The scent doesn’t last long at all. The size of bottle was shocking for the price. Won’t order again
